Upon walking in we almost turned around to leave as there was only one other table with people at it. We decided to stay because we were tired and did not want to look for another place to eat. The decor was simple, clean, the booth we sat at was comfortable. The menu was simple to read and not overwhelming. We ordered bacon wrapped shrimp from the appetizers and I must say we LOVED them. We then each went the the salad bar and found it all very fresh and lots to choose from. I ordered the fried catfish and fries while Guy ordered the fried shrimp both were really good. The bacon wrapped shrimp also came as a dinner selection and were soo good we ordered them for just that a few days later during our stay and again we were not disappointed. Sad to see that the locals have not embraced this restaurant. When I asked the owner about this she said simply that they did not have a very successful opening as they were a little overwhelmed and did not jump it off in the best way. But they have some loyal customers and are trying to get their footing in the area and are hopeful that word will spread and business will improve. I love to see people going after their dreams and am always hopeful when they are really sincere and strive to give it 100%. I feel that is what they are doing as the quality of what they served was great, their service was friendly and inviting, and the place large enough to handle the business they desire. Wishing them the best and thanks for a great meal.
