We arrived with no reservations and were allowed to choose our own 30 amp spot. (we chose Y32) It seemed that most spots did not have a concrete parking pad, but the larger 50 amp spots did have a small concrete area for the picnic table. There were at least two 30 amp sites that were more shaded and private with shrubs and trees surrounding them. The grounds are well-kept. The bath house/laundry area was also clean. The ladies side had 4 decent-sized shower 'rooms' and there were plenty of toilets and sinks. There was one shower that the water pressure was very low and I ran out of hot water at the very end (around 3pm). The next day I chose a different shower and it was good water pressure and had hot water all the way through (around 11am). There is a pavillion and a nice play ground. The laundry is exposed, so wouldn't be easy to do laundry if its raining. If you want to leave/return in a vehicle after 9pm you must get a key/pass (that costs you a $20 deposit) to get in and out of the gates. Nice walk to the beach (not super close but not far) We rode bikes all over the island and jogged to and through the Audubon Bird Sanctuary. It was cool enough to not be in the water so not sure how clear/muddy it is there. We would definitely return.
