I stay in Mobile quite often 2-3 times per month for business. All of the Hilton properties I usually stay in were booked, which is unusual, so I decided to book this location, due to its convenience to Mobile. (Just across bridge). Upon arrival, I am told that my King bed is no longer available that two queens is all that is available. The explanation given was someone just wanted to extend their stay. In my mind this is an unacceptable reason, regardless of Hilton Honors status, which I have. I have had many times where I have extended stays and had to change rooms to do so, due to availability. Once getting to the room I found the room to be stuffy, in need of paint and a little TLC. The balcony was a good view, however I can not comment on the sunset. Good seafood is a short drive. Don't think i will frequent this hotel unless everything from Pensacola to Mobile is booked, particularly in the Hilton properties. There are much better Hampton's in the area and you can catch the view from one of the restaurants on the bay. No wonder they dont send the typical review emails that I get from other Hilton properties after a stay.
