“Avoid this hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

Just stayed here on a quick business trip to Kolkata. The public spaces and my guest room were very dirty. The hotel disco sends thumping music throughout the hotel and street noise is considerable. I sent clothes to be laundered and pressed, and it was poorly done.
Wi-Fi was reliable, but had to call reception to get new log-in information every 2 hours. Yes, it's a business hotel, but the price of a single room--INR 3,000--is higher than I've paid for nicer business hotels in Mumbai and Bangalore.

Recently stayed in this Hotel. Location is the only good thing that the hotel can claim..else everything was average, actually poor....took 30minutes to serve tea...the AC remote was missing. The room which was alloted was under maintenance (the reception guy was not aware of this fact)...then again changed to another room. Never tried any food in the hotel..so will not comment on this.

the hotel is in the city centre and hence is very crowded and noisy. Accessibility is high as all public transportation can be availed. Rooms are deent sized, food was just about average. Price wise its reasonable. Staff service is average. Good hotel for business travellers

The place is centrally located however, my advice is one should avoid it! The guys might be very pleasant initially however, once you check in, the behaviour is different.
The flush was not working, had to change the room! The remote of AC was missing. There was loudest music possible on 3 floor as the hotel runs discotheque inside the compound and the music did not stop even at 11.30 pm. Even after complaining, they were not bothered about it.

So my advice is to stay away from this place. Kolkata has better facilities than this and one should not waste money and spoil the mood by staying at this worthless place.

I stayed in the hotel for a business trip. The hotel is at a safe location with a lot of eating joints nearby like Picadilly. Its restaurant has a good selection of food items. But the rooms are not very hygienic. The service level is above average.

Although the Hotel is centrally located but falls falt on all other counts.Rooms are cramped and they need some serious overhaul of the furniture and furnishing.
Breakfast is a terrible and and body staying on weekends will face tough time due to noise coming from the disc on the ground floor.
Staff is not very friendly and have a take it or lump it attitude. With this kind of price its better to look for some other hotel in the area.

Hotel has a decent team and simple service structure.

Rooms are good and spacious.

Centrally located and just 10-20 mins drive to places like Esplanade, Bara Bazaar. There
is no much amenity other than enjoying room but two nice attachments are there. Disco and Tea Bar.

Breakfast should not be missed. Very tasty and beautiful Presentation for serving.

Improvement needed with reception team on customer attention.
