At the outset i would like to say that the place is a very pretty cafe. A place especially for girls to get together for some tee hee. Decorated with bright colours. The place is not very big it has three tables in all but is worth the muffins. My husband and I went to The Rouge after hearing about their delectable muffins( i am a fan of muffins) on 10 August 2012. It is a new place comparatively. They have quite a choice of muffins to choose from, BUT, only six are available on any one particular day. I was disappointed as i was all set out to eat blueberry muffins, which were alas not available on that particular day. Muffins are available in small(mind you they are really small) and regular. We tried Lemon, Rubus and their specialty THE ROUGE. I must admit the rouge was the best out of these three. Lemon was refreshing and light. I loved their tea cups which i was told were bought by the owner from Malaysia. We also tried their iced tea in blackcurrant and orange mango flavor but were disappointed as appropriate quantity was not added and it felt as if you were having cinnamon flavored water. I am hoping they improve on that. Otherwise a good place to chat over tea/ coffee with muffins.
