It was tottaly the same quality of hotel which I expected after reading the website and other tourists reviews. Everything was well there. Location and surroundings are great, just some minutes walk from the city's downtown area and many shops and cafes. Atmosphere was like at ho,me.
Our room was very slean, modern and well designed. I prdered some food t at room service and it was also good.

A decent stay with average facilities for a Service Apartment in kolkata. Though quite old, it is well maintained and clean. The staff are polite and helpful.
Limited choice for breakfast (continental or Indian). However, the choice is more for dinner and lunch. For dinner, I have tried fried mee hoon and Lamb briyani, and both were nice and come in a portion that is enough to feed two.
It took me a 10 to 15mins stroll to reach City Centre Shopping Mall where my office is located. On the way, there is small market and school where we can see how local lives.
Overall, it is a decent stay for those who wants to experience the neighbourhood.

We rented six rooms (top two floors) for several days in connection with a family event. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, comfortable, airy, and clean. The beds are clean and comfortable. The rooms are well maintained and clean. There is enough cabinet space for storing clothing and other items. My wife and I lived in a 2-room suite on the top floor, with a open balcony attached to one of the rooms. Breakfast was included; there were choices for continental (bread, egg, milk and cereal, with jam/marmalade), idly (typical south Indian) or paratha with fresh yogurt. One can get lunch or dinner. Cooking quality is very good and there is a nice choice of menus; however, there is only one cook, so you might like to order well in advance because otherwise it might take a long time. House-keeping is regular and clean. They attended to our all our needs promptly. Bathrooms have hot water but the water pressure is erratic--sometimes it is great, at other times it is pitifully slow--never understood the reason for this erratic behavior. The staff are always helpful, the manager is extremely competent, polite and helpful. The apartment is located within 5 min walk from a taxi stand and the best shopping mall in the Salk Lake region (near the airport) of Kolkata, which is somewhat far from the central districts but is relatively quiet and very safe--much more livable than most other neighborhoods of this rather maddening city.
