“Darjeeling at it best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

You can see the real Darjeeling during this rope way journey. The travel duration is around 30-45 minutes (back and forth). The rope way takes you along the lush green tea plantation. If you are a nature lover you will love this place. The ticket counter is open between 10 am- 3 pm. Back and forth journey is not non-stop. Unlike other rope ways you can get down to the tea garden, spend quality time around the greenery, click pictures and then come back. Ticket per head is 150/- I felt really satisfied seeing the best view of Darjeeling. I would suggest you to take at least 3-4 hrs time off and go there to enjoy the trip.

“For aerial view of tea gardens....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Rangeet ropeway connects north point of Darjeeling (Singamari) to Singla through a bicable ride. It takes you from an altitude of 7000 ft to 800 ft in merely 20 minutes. You get the aerial view of tea gardens on the decent.

Ticket is for return journey. One car accommodates about 6 adults. Since a specific distance is kept between two cars, one has to wait in a line for 20-40 minutes.

Once you reach the last point at Singla, you have to get down. There are few shops selling snack items and tea. There is also a sitting place from where one can see the valley. There is no time limit to get back. Return journey will take you to same base station at Singamari.

If you want to enjoy aerial view of tea gardens, this is a must see attraction.

“Should be the number one attraction!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013

We just loved the views from the cable car over the tea estates. It was very well-priced with a small queue and a little tea stall at the side. There was lots of space in the cable car and we had a tranquil, peaceful ride through the valley - I can't recommend this highly enough.
