“Good tandoori, but staff could shape up!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Good tandoori meat, but the restaurant itself is a bit boring. The staff was plenty, but was hard to get hold of. When we were finished all they wanted was to get us out, so that they could accommodate waiting customers. Good food but overall not THAT good!

“Awesome food, good ambience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

We are regulars at Copper Chimney and were thankful when they opened another outlet near Ascendas a few months ago. Much needed and much deserved for the ECR, Velachery and Taramani crowd. The food is great, the ambience is good and most importantly, we always get a warm welcome. Overall, the place tops my list of favourites and I would love to go there again and again!

“Nothing great about this place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

The ambiance is the only attraction here, food is average. Doesn't really taste north indian. Compared to the taste, the prices are high. Not worth a try!

“Not worth the price !!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

I visited the taramani branch of this famous chain. There is ample parking space. I had made an appointment before visiting, thus did not have to wait for long.
Though the place is cramped, the service is superb.

The let down is the food. I am a vegetarian and had ordered two most authentic dishes which is loved by majority of our kind - paneer butter masala and malai kofta. Was really disappointed with the "bland" taste. It tasted nothing like the price that they charge per dish.

I would not know of the non veg items, but would not recommend this place to anyone. Sigri and Crimson Chakra are much better options.
