“Nice Old temple still not too crowded”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

If one wants to see South Indian Temple, without being lost in big crowd and waiting, this one is good alternative.

There are several sections and not too much noise.

Lighting is subdued but that I think may be common in temples

“Regular visit for loverboy God is great fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

From my childhood, this temple was fun place especially mirror room for roaming form of god. Ardent devotee of Hindu gods, I find this temple its unique charm for young couples who want knot themselves up. Also you have the clean premises and good prasadam to keep you company on hot summer evenings.

“Tamil God”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013 via mobile

The temple is a well-maintained religious centre at Vadapalani. The principal deity resembles the one at Palani (a popular hill temple further south in the dindugal district) and hence the name vadapalani (North Palani). The linen-clad Tamil God Muruga stands in an angry mood after the denial of Gyanapazham ( the fruit of enlightenment). The young and handsome boy rules vadapalani. en

“Good temple in the heart of city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

This is a great temple right inside the city. The temple is well maintained. It is very pleasant inside. During festive seasons and important days, it is crowded. Lord Muruga is just fantastic. He is well decorated. Powerful place!! There is a little difficulty for car parking but one can find it always.
