I visited Kryptos a week back with my brother and his friend. The moment I reached the restaurant I was surprised to see the 'Vegetarian' sign under the logo at the entrance. And when I entered the restaurant all I could see was salads and nothing else which was kept as the buffet menu. My first question to the waiter was "Since when did Kryptos turn vegetarian?" I should have had a clue about Kryptos being a vegetarian restaurant while checking it's menu on the other sites.
This restaurant was supposed to serve Greek food but I could hardly find a few dishes with Greek names and dishes on the menu. The service was very disappointing during my visit. We had to wait for about 45 minutes to have our dishes served. We had to even ask the waiter to refill of our glasses with water! And almost all the dishes on the menu are overpriced for vegetarian food!!
The only satisfying part was the taste of the food and the dessert that we had ordered. And there were hardly any people in the restaurant during my visit. The restaurant has pictures of celebrities who had visited the place. The funny part was the waiter himself told us that all the pictures were taken when the restaurant was serving non-vegetarian food!
Overall, this is a place that even vegetarians might have to double think before their visit!!
