“Wonderful stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014 via mobile

I stayed at hotel during my recent visit in a conference with our colleagues for a training organised by K V. It is a nice place to stay with family also, with lot of greenery around with location in centre of the city. The staff is very decent, always served with politeness . The guy at the reception named Mr. Vipul is outstanding available for help during odd ours for any complaints. Hat's off for such hard work.
I truly recommend all my fellow members and all people visiting the city to stay at the place .

My wife and my in-laws stayed at Om Niwas for an extended period from Mar-May 2014 while in Jaipur for my father-in-law's cancer treatment. The staff were very understanding of our special needs and went out of their day to accommodate our requests. They treated us like family - being strangers to Jaipur with no family support there, it was very comforting for us.

Apart from the excellent and friendly staff, the place is very clean, has all the basics for an extended stay and provides a delicious breakfast fare. We would definitely stay there again when in Jaipur.

I had stayed one night with my brother and 2 nieces in a 1 BHK type room. We had a living room and kitchen along with the bedroom. The kitchen helps if you have kids travelling with you. The rooms are big, beautiful and clean. The only issue we faced was when we had ordered dinner, My brother had ordered a paneer dish and was served a extremely small bowl with only 2 spoonfuls of the veggie. Had to send it back as the price indicated was exorbitant for the quantity they gave us. The pizza that we ordered for mu nieces was also horrible. However, the story changed completely during breakfast. The chef made specific food that we ordered for the kids. The quantity then served was good and tasty.

Dear guest, thank you for your feedback on your stay at om niwas. We are happy that you liked our facility and the accomadation.
I am really sorry about your experience during dinner was not what you had expected. We have taken certain corrective measures regarding portion sizes. I assure you another experience here shall be as good as the breakfast one.

Hope to see you again when you visit Jaipur, next.

We stayed for 3 nights for a wedding function and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of customer service whether it is reception, house keeping, room service, homely food! Better and much relaxed than being in a 5 star hotel.

Booked this based on Tripadvisor reviews. Certainly lives up to its reputation. Wanted a kitchenette as we were traveling with an infant...got one as promised..no hassles. Close to railway station, city and pretty mush a center point for most other attractions. Service was excellent. Food is priced a tad bit high particularly considering that the quantities cater strictly to one person. Warm reception, transparent dealings...excellent helpful staff. Restaurant offers personalized service when it's not a buffet...what more could you ask for?

This is truly a place that is a home away form home. I never wanted to check out! We stayed a week here in a service apartment, staff was very helpful in getting us pots and pans we needed.

The rooms were spotless and everyday they came to clean. Even called us everyday to make sure we made it to the breakfast buffet in morning before it closed.

The restaurant is good and dare i say gourmet... They sell breads, cookies and muffins in the lobby which they make, prices are very good. Everything is made with top quality ingredients and less oil. You can even order your food to be eaten on the gorgeous roof top terrace.

The terrace is filled with lush flowers and even a mini lotus pond. At night it is just magical as it lit by soft glow of the lanterns.

I will always stay here when in jaipur.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the papaya tree

I stayed here with my family for two days during a visit to Jaipur. In hindsight I think I should have paid more. The hotel is clean and presentable however the reception staff are not exactly on the ball. There are no good restaurants in the locality so you need to like the catering provided in the basement. Food is basic India fare. The accommodation is a double room self catering apartment. You could personalise the apartment and hole yourself here for a while but for a short stay it's below my comfort level. There is however a kettle, microwave and fridge. Ablutions are basic but there is a sit down toilet. In hindsight I wish I had bought my own wine and G&T as the hotel and area are dry. The main feature of the hotel is the turfed concrete flat roof which is a quirky feature but ideal for sun downers.

Room Tip: Some rooms are triangular others are square. If you stay in the summer, make sure your swamp cooler...
