“worth trying”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

One of my fried has recommended this to us during our recent visit to Jaipur. We were three friends and all like non vegetarian food and so we have tried this. Place was nice and food was very good in test, but i must say it was overpriced, presentation was not so great, and staff were Ok. the no of people visited during the lunch time shows that this restaurant is very popular among local as well as tourist.to conclude one can try it if he loves non vegetarian Indian food.

“over priced”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

This restaurant is one of the oldest and well-known restaurants. The food here is sub-standard and overly priced. Servers are rude. It gets very congested here and is very noisy. The only saving grace was their tandoori chicken which was the only thing which we finished out of all that we ordered. Visit this place only if you are on the road. its a busy restaurant with waiting so try and take reservation before going.

“One of the earliest eating places.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

Niros, which started more than 50 years back, is still one of the favourite restaurants for both localites & tourists alike. Specially for connoisseurs of non-vegetarian food.

“Old world charm... must visit...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Niro's is definitely one of those Jaipur institutions that any new visitor to Jaipur must try. The Laal maas and the butter chicken are really good. The service is very friendly. Worth the trip.

And you can stop by the lassiwalla on the other side of the road just after your meal...

“Demanding staff and average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

Niro's was a huge disappointment for us, the food was average and the service throughOut the meal was okay but when the bill came the staff were very demanding and told us exactly how much tip they expect from us. Our bill was INR 1060 which included three different types of taxes (service tax, main meal tax and dessert tax??!), the waiter then tells us 'you can pay 1200', and stared at us until we gave them that amount. We don't mind tipping but this was ridiculous, won't be going back.
