“We liked staying at this peaceful place down a no exit street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2011

I'm sure this place is good value for money but as we were part of a small Intrepid group I cannot comment on price.
Comfy beds, colourful quilts, homely atmosphere, plenty of hot water and towels, large flat screen tv and, joy of joys, an electric jug to make tea or coffee! Eating breakfast or lunch at the hotel restaurant was reasonable and tasty, they provided delicious fresh squeezed orange juice and rice pudding. Vegetarian and no alcohol. Walked to nearby market and a bit further on to a classic cinema where we watched a Hollywood blockbuster. What this place lacked in fancy decor and atmosphere it more than made up for with friendly staff and home comforts. A nice little garden to sit in.

1.Calm and peaceful place, no nuisance around.
2.Felt like am staying in my home with my family around.
3.Excellent food preparation, however variety needs lot of improvement.
4.Clean Room, LCD has made the stay comfortable.
5.Quilt needs replacement, good to see Jaipuri quilt, however it must be of good quality with a cover on it.
6.Car wash facility through staff will definitely help us, please think upon on chargeable basis / Free of cost (Only owned car without driver).
7.Nice concept of requesting guest to avoid Linen change, this will not only saves water for the nation but also gives you an idea how eco friendly you people are, excellent stuff….keep it up.
8.What has inspired Jai niwas to put Medimix Soap in the washroom; on the contrary you serve excellent buoyant economic luxury hotel, you may charge the soap charges from us or at least put a decent soap and can have a tie up with manufacturer’s i.e. Cinthol / Liril / Lux etc which is commonly used across INDIA.
9.Wi-Fi Services, must say thanks to the staff Members who were so supportive….Keep it up
10.Last but not the least….Co-operation received from the staff was phenomenal specially Mr. Mahesh / Ms Rakhi…..” Away from Family and felt My Family was with me” First ever stay for me, though my guests/collegues had the privilege staying in this hotel since last 5years through me.
11.Recommend this hotel oooooopsss house for all who look for peace and want to stay with their family.

Regards
Peeyush Gupta

We stayed here for 1 night as Arya Niwas was booked out. We had been staying at Arya Niwas for 4 nights and wanted to extend our stay, unfortunately there were no rooms available, so the very helpful staff at Arya Niwas organised a room and car transfer for us to Jai Niwas, one of their sister hotels, for the following evening. Jai Niwas is a lovely single level hotel on a smaller scale to Arya Niwas. We had a lovely spacious room, but it was a little noisy being in a near the front of the complex. There was wifi at a good hourly rate and a large flat screen tv with lots of movie and news channels. The shower was excellent with endless hot water!! There are lovely gardens and a small cafeteria at the back of the building serving healthy, home cooked food, both western and indian. The Thalis are fantastic! There is only a limited room service menu compared with Arya Niwas. It is a very homely place to stay. You can even hear the birds chirping! Such a contrast to the crazy streets of Jaipur! The hotel is hidden away in the backstreets, but very close to all the attractions of Jaipur. All the staff were very friendly, exccept for the very rude female receptionist who we dealt with upon our arrival. It is important for Jai Niwas Management to know that this one rude staff member can let down your whole business. Compared to the exceptional service at Arya Niwas, this was a very big let down. We must say that later on that day we dealt with a very nice male receptionsit and he was very friendly. The only other issue we had was the security, there really needs to be a gate at the front entrance. We would reccomend this hotel, just hope you don't have to deal with the rude female receptionist, she doesn't make you feel very welcome at all! She also tried to get us to complete a survey on the spot and would not allow us to post it at a later date, so here we are now giving our feedback.

Jai Niwas was a well kept place. The service was very good. Rooms are clean. The staff are helpful. Our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. A few more sight-seeing options should be included in their tour programmes.

Nice quiet hotel at the dead end of a road.
Professional staff, very helpful reception staff and free internet are only some of the values you get for your money.
The whole place was very clean.
The restaurant is very clean and professional. Every evening you can choose betweeen two main courses or a small standard menue. That speaks for fresh food.
