My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as we travelled through Rajasthan, India and loved it. A beautiful heritage hotel and well maintained. The exterior of the building had beautiful paintings on the walls, with patio areas on each floor for you to sit, relax and do some reading. The bedrooms were spacious and traditionally designed with amazing wooden doors and shutters adding to the ambience, our bed was a four poster. The bathroom was older but clean, with running hot water. Our room was up 3 flights of stairs, but with a porter on hand who wrestles your bags from you to carry them, its not an issue. There is a nice enclosed lawn area where a continental breakfast is served each day and afternoon tea is available also (separate charge). You can also relax and take in the hot sun. The front desk has stamps for sale and posted our postcards for us. The hotel is on a small road close to a main road area where there is easy access to autorickshaws and the drivers can find the hotel easily enough, which is key. There is a small walled pool, which we didn't try out as too exhausted from our days of sightseeing. We also did not eat in the restaurant. Room service prices seemed expensive. But recommend staying here.
