Greetings from Arya Niwas Jaipur.

Thank you for taking out the time to write a review and for the kind words. All of us here are glad you liked the services and facilities at our hotel.
The insects that you saw were not cockroaches but small flies i think. We have got all our lines disinfected since.
Jaipur is a lovely city with many well known and not so well known places of interest. I do hope you will plan another trip, possibly soon, to our lovely home town of Jaipur.

We arrived by train after midnight and were warmly welcomed and taken to our room for 3 people.Room was comfortable and with balcony, bathroom clean and nice environment, a relief after a long train journey. Staff willing to help and provide a town map and feedback forms available to provide suggestions.

Good value for 3 people. Less than half an hours walk from train station, though a little difficult to find at night time, and walking distance to transport, shopping and tourist bus that can be taken to the Amber Palace and Old City. Jaipur is too large a city to walk so location near or in the Old city is important to make best use of time. Restaurant available.

Hotel Recommended.

Great spot for a 2-3 day hub in Japiur.
Nice hotel with confortable rooms and a pleasant garden in front of the hotel. Centrally located and not far away for any spots with a tuck tuck
Can only recommend this place when visiting Japur city

We booked two De Luxe rooms, arrived late at night to find one had been bumped. "A guest wanted to stay on, so we have given you a lesser room". The lower quality room was clearly a room of last resort. This arrogant attitude prevailed throughout our stay. When I spoke to the manager about my dissatisfaction as I paid the final account, his reaction was of obvious disinterest.

The bedrooms are spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Bathrooms dated but clean and well-maintained; good hot water supply. The garden area creates a buffer between the hotel and busy nearby roads.

There is a lovely courtyard and garden area near the restaurant, making sitting outside for meals and drinks a delight. Food is of average quality but easy to access without having to venture outside the hotel into busy Jaipur.

Room Tip: Choose a De Luxe room and hope you get it. If someone else wants it, you lose.

Arya Nivas is a good budget hotel. We stayed there for 2 days. The staff also allowed us for an early check-in of 2 hours which was very helpful. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. Although it looks like a old hotel, it is maintained well. I liked the restaurant area of this hotel the most. You can have your food sitting in the sit-out area which is a very relaxing experience after the long hours of watching palaces and forts. The restaurant serves all kinds of cuisines. The buffet breakfast is reasonably priced. All in all a great hotel at this price.

This hotel has lots of charm, with large comfortable rooms. The hotel is well maintained, but not luxurious. The style of the hotel makes it seem like a grand old home, with lots of public lounging areas. Good location, with restaurants within walking distance. The hotel restaurant was very reasonably priced, and the hotel shop was also well priced. The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms could use updating. The staff was courteous and professional. The use of a tip box rather than giving tips to individuals was a welcome change after traveling in India for a while. Would stay again.
