The lawns, airy corridors and terraces and !library! give the place an enchanting, almost colonial, feel. The vague and quirky setup of the restaurant, with a 'payment counter' to order food which is then brought to you by a waiter added to the feeling of a bygone era of Government guesthouses.
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and sitting with a cup of tea on the tranquil lawn is a wonderful escape from the hectic chaos of Jaipur.
In contrast, the hotel "business centre" was very efficient and professional in booking our train travel and the hotel Wifi was good.
The rooms were comfortable, spacious and very clean.
If you have small children, the alarming low 'balconies' on the upper floors could be a concern.
