Imagine this Hall of Mirrors in the era of the Rajasthan Royalty - lit only by candle-lights, under a full moon, with soft strains of music from the "Naubatkhana" playing in the background, a 1000 mirror slivers and mirrors on the roof and walls reflecting the candlelight and the guests, while they enjoyed a repast of the delicious marwari food.. those would have been the days.
Right now, the Hall is getting repaired, especially the mirrors that have lost their silvering getting polished.
It's still lovely, and it's worth it to see, and photograph your reflection in one of the mirrors...
The Hall is right in the midst of Amer Palace.
