“Palace hotel redefined ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 weeks ago

15 luxurious rooms are not sufficient to define a Palace into boutique hotel. Glorious history of Visits in past by celebrities including top politicians, film stars and businessmen this palace was the hotel for select fews. Film shootings and reception for fine marriages including top Jaipur Jewellery Show this palace was popularity known The Residency. Belonging to Royal family of Jaipur is now
fully renovated, refurbished this palace hotel is going to be a different experience to stay. Rooms are huge and comforts can be felt only by seeing.Palatial Decor and unusually lavish Colours are bright and beautiful. Conference rooms, lounge, pool, huge lawns in the heart of city are seeing is believing. After a Soft opening the hotel is here for a scintillating new beginning. Going to be in news this will add to city's reputation of Pink and Royal.

Distictive interior imspired by Royal India yet with a modern feel. Live the life of a Moderb Day Maharani, with its look, service and attention to details.
Since it recently re-opened, it has a few teething problems, but in time this boutique hotel could become a real Jaipur Gem. With previous residents being Princess Diana and Jackie Kennedy-- it is of course a style destination.

Room Tip: Mountbatten suite and Kennedy suite have a more light, modern and airy feel.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2015

We were lucky enough to have one night in the Jackie Kennedy Suite and loved it. Perfect size for a suite and being on the first floor we could open the windows and let the sounds and smells of Jaipur drift in all night. This is more a residence than a hotel and it has the intimate yet comfortably formal feel of a bygone era. This was after all the Maharana's private residence and has been lovingly restored by Sujan who operate some of India's finest hospitality experiences. Push the boat out and stay here when you visit Jaipur - this is a totally unique experience.

Room Tip: Jackie Kennedy Suite did it for us.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2015

Review made in January 2015, but visit was in April 2008, so my experience is not recent . The place may well have changed quite a bit since then. It may have been upmarket years ago, but had gone a little downhill since. While we were in the hotel there was an enormous wedding.being celebrated in the grounds next door. The happy couple - or their families must have been fairly well off as this thing was almost as big as a travelling fair and the procession had elephants, camels and lots of lights and staff. Our room was fairly comfortable and well appointed, but much the same level of luxury as the ones allocated to Charles and Diana when they were there (one of the waiters gave us a sneek peek)
