“one of the best hotels I have ever stayed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

this is one of the palace-converted-hotels in india.
one of the best hotel i have ever stayed.
every room is different and unique. some are better and some are not as good.
Service is very good. breakfast is very nice as well.
if you are in the mood, you can have dinner in the hand-painted dinning room. But even if you don't, you can still go and visit and take some pictures.

The swimming pool and breakfast area are very nice hangout place. esp. at night, the ambiance is amazingly romantic.

as compared to some other palace-converted-hotels in India, this one has the best value in my opinion.

For the price, you cannot go wrong.

In the courtyard where you have dinner and breakfast, the monkeys cavort on the rooftops above you each morning. Food was very good, Breakfast buffet delicious. Rooms were spacious and clean. Service excellent. Pool area lovely, workout room above had good equipment, everything very clean.

Room Tip: Without asking, was given an upgrade. So always worth asking.

We stayed here for four nights. The food was one of our favorites in India! We Loved having a real bar service by the pool at night, as we where there on business and it was great to unwind in peace. Was one of the few places in India that made great cocktails and didn't judge us ladies for having them. (not that we where rowdy by any means) The pool area smells like jasmine and is such an oasis in itself. The dining courtyard has pomegranate trees which had fruit when we where there...I mean...! The location is fantastic, the rooms are lovely. The price is high (but fair) but we felt like we had all our needs met and really appreciated the service, and ammenities at this hotel. We'll be hooked every trip from now on! Oh and the spa services where lovely....You must at least go and enjoy this property for dinner even if you do not book here.

Many many thanks for that beautiful stay at your hotel. We enjoyed the beautiful resort, your kind, professional and well-trained staff, the food.
Our only critic is to take those beverages that form the bar-menu, that you would not offer any longer.

Having stayed the previous night in the Samode Palace, we then moved into this hotel for two nights to see the sights of Jaipur. We had a room on the second floor which was well furnished with an extra day bed and the usual desk etc. The bathroom contained a shower over a marble lined bath and a small dressing area with a wardrobe. All of this was very satisfactory and comfortable except that the lighting in the room and the dressing area was not particularly good. The only windows were along one side of the room and it was necessary to keep the curtains drawn most of the time to preserve our privacy. Oddly, there was nowhere to hang wet towels in the bathroom. The room was quiet enough most of the time except one evening when some children were running around the passageways and fairly early one morning when one of the hotel staff started to fire blanks from a rifle to scare away the monkeys!
We ate breakfasts in the inside dining room where the food was good with the usual selection of both Indian and European food available including eggs anyway you liked them. We ate dinners outside in the courtyard area where we needed jumpers to deal with the falling temperature. The choice of food was good and varied and included some non-Indian dishes. Service was excellent throughout including at the pool bar.
Overall, this hotel is ideally located to see and marvel at the fascinating sights of Jaipur and we are happy to recommend it.

We stayed 2 nights in this pleasant hotel which is in the centre of Jaipur. We stayed in a Haveli suite which was clean but furnishings quite tired. The hotel courtyard, pool area and restaurant are very nice and well kept. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The food in the restaurant is excellent and dinner is served al fresco ( so you need a jumper in November !) the breakfast was served in a magnificent painted hall. The wifi is only available in bar and lobby areas which is a little inconvenient. You need a driver or a taxi to take you outside the hotel.

...in the hustle and bustle of Jaipur!
A very friendly hotel with a beautiful dining room though options to enjoy courtyard dining at breakfast and dinner. Strongly recommend the thali for dinner.
The pool area/ garden is lovely with a gym overlooking.
We were upgraded to a suite - very spacious with very traditional decor and furniture.
Ideal for sampling the bazaars of Old Jaipur and heading to the Amber Fort.
