“The real king of jaipur!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

All over the world jaipur is famous for its royalty but the real royale is here even the king of jaipur considered him the real of jaipur.he used to get the first glimpse of Sri govinddevji and then started his daily chores.lots of men and women living in the walled city of jaipur have made it mandatory in their life to go for the early morning pilgrim of this holy temple. Lots of performers consider themselves fortunate if they had a chance to perform here in front if the king of the all 16arts.i went to seek blessings and salute the king govinddevji with my family.beautiful huge temple, behind the temple enjoy boating in tal katora and stroll around a huge garden in and around the temple.

“Govind Devji Temple, a Guiness Book of World Records holder”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2013

The temple earned its name in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the widest single span RCC flat roof. This means there are no pillars in between, obsctructing the view of the devotees.

The idol in the temple faces the window of what was the king’s bedroom in the Jaipur palace. The royal family had some highly decorative bejeweled costumes made for the idols. There are five of these and the idols are dressed in them on special occasions. The day of Diwali, is of course one of these. All of this was very fondly told to us by many of the locals who had come to offer their prayers.

Beautiful..... Such a beautiful deity of Krsna. I could just sit here for hours listening to the devotees sing their heart out.

The temple is clean. The laddoo prasad is delicious!
