“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2012

It's hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay with Priti and her lovely family. The food was absolutely amazing and nothing - absolutely nothing - was too much trouble for them. They helped us with everything we needed. Despite it being cold in Jaipur we were lovely and warm and cosy at night. If you stay anywhere in Jaipur - stay here. We will definitely come back and can't thank the whole family enough for a brilliant four days. Excellent value for money.

Room Tip: All are pristine- new ones being built at the time we stayed

Priti and her family made it so memorable and we will never forget them it felt so sad when we had to say goodbye! The food was amazing the best chapatties iv ever tasted and the best toast in India for breakfast! We all slept really well and had a lovely newyear their I would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Jaipur! Thankyou so much priti for making us so welcome! Xxxx

One of my friend recommended me the guest house and when I called Priti I knew it will be a good experience. The house is nice but the welcome is unique ! Priti arranged everything for us and our trip was much more comfortable ! Looking her cooking (really good food) and sharing experiences with the family was amazing. All my family enjoyed it ! I recommand this place for everyone who wants to live a great indian experience !

We spent 4 nights here and loved, loved, loved it.
It is a real homestay, with the whole family around, the buzzing kitchen and the quiet neighborhood. On the other hand, Priti knows how to make sure all your needs are met, so the service is on par to a hotel. She is a big reason our time here was so enjoyable.
Location is a Rs 30-50 rickshaw ride away from the old city.
The rooms we stayed in were basic, but very clean and comfortable.
The food, made fresh when we needed it, was wonderful. I like to stick around the kitchen, so it was fun as usual to be part of the action. Breakfast on the balcony and dinner, delicately served at the dinning table with fresh chapatis coming as we ate, were better than the vast majority of restaurants we have been to in India.
And last, but definitely not least, the family were welcoming, kind and always smiling. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Note: the railway line is very close to the house and can be noisy, especially with certain trains. Keep that in mind if it will be a problem for you.
_________
The house has two new floors, which are dedicated to expansion of the homestay. It was not functioning when we were there, but once its done I am sure it will make the accommodation even more comfortable. One floor with color coded rooms and big shared balcony, and the top floor for a restaurant with great views. Good luck!

Priti and her family were the best hosts I had during my holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. Priti came and picked me up from pre arranged spot as soon as I rang. The meals were great and I never went hungry. Priti's mum even cooked me paranthas and packed them for my lunch while I was out sight seeing and also when I left on the bus.I was so lucky to be staying during the Diwali festival. I was included with the family in the festivities and it was a fantastic experience. The whole guest house was very clean and tidy. The train lines are very close but it did not disturb my sleep. It was like a home away from home for me.

After traveling a few monthes away from home i found my way with a couple of friends at Rajputana's guesthouse. Preti came and picked us up from the bus stop. Aside from the Guesthouse being tidy and clean what truely made my experience extraordinary was the hospitality of Preti and her family. We sat with them to have our meals and in the evening shared their living room. They were helpfull in planning, advising and organizing the trips in Japiur. It was without a doubt one of my favorite places in India and its due only to Preti and her family. I feel like Ive learned alot from them, theyre truely amazing people and made my stay very much memorable. Out of the many different places Ive stayed in India I think the Rajputana's guesthouse was my favorite.

Priti & her family were great- nothing was too much trouble for them....organising rickshaws, enquiring about train tickets etc so we had nothing to worry about & staying with them was a pleasure. The family are so welcoming, we'd spend the morning chatting to the family, over the lovely breakfast they had prepared for us, and they would give us great tips & local knowledge of things to see & do In Jaipur. They even invited us to have an evening meal with them which was fabulous. We loved staying here & would definitely come again- without a doubt

Room Tip: Tell them your budget so you get the best for you
