I stayed here with my wife, kid and parents for 3 days and to be honest, except for the infrastructure (read rooms, furniture, immovable assets), everything else about this place needs a better management. The reception guys would throw all kinds of tantrums even after confirmed telephonic reservation just about 10 hours before arrival; credit card machines would conk off right at the time of payments and they would insist on cash-payment; And, would shy away from giving you any receipts -- Hello .. is Mr.Owner listening -- Does he even know what goes on in his hotel??? Breakfast boasts of diluted Slice in the name of 'fruit juice', combined with cold toasts and (unstuffed) paranthas - served with nothing but pickle. Also on offer is milk-water decoction, if you want to have corn-flakes. Better avoid all kinds of food here.
Also, i felt the hotel staff is heavily biased towards foreign tourists and completely ignore indians in their presence. Room service is pathetic - you would have to keep calling for things as small as basic toiletries and drinking water!!
Good things about this place, as i said earlier, is the infrastructure. It seems the owner has done decent investment in immovable assets of the place. Situated right near the main city, this place has a vantage point for travelers who want to explore the rustic charm of the old city.
All in all, with generosity i would give them a poor rating - and hope i get to reserve a better place in future.

Room Tip: Back side rooms have permanently closed windows.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in October 2011. The service was efficient and friendly and our room was large. well decorated, quiet and well equiped. We had a large comfortable bed. Everything was spotless, nice bathroom (hmm no hot water while we were there, but hey, this is India so no probs).

Service was efficient, friendly and the food was good.

Location - a little way out of town, just off a busy road, but hotel itself quiet.
Very good value for money.

Room Tip: Clean, spacious rooms in a friendly traditional style hotel. Great value for money.

This hotel is a vey good one with full value for money. The rooms are spacious and room service is very good. The location, close to Jorawar Singh Gate, is also very good.
The complementary breakfast is very good.

Very nicely decorated, the staff is very nice but the electrical system cannot handle both AC & hot water, so no hot water. So if you don't need a hot shower this is the place.
