“A Beauty but a beast.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

Located near Jaipur city, in Jaipur has a different kind of services as required and if requested. Request a haveli if u want to stay more than 24hrs. Average hospitality, average wifi but normal speed.

Room Tip: Choose a Haveli if u wanted to stay more than 24hrs.

we went there last year, dec, 2012 for the new year celebrations. v booked the new year package. we reached there in the evening and were devastated to see the rooms. infested with mosquitoes, damp, smelly rooms...there were not even proper electrical fittings. the electric kettle has to be kept on the floor as the connection was no where on the table..were we supposed to have our tea sitting on the room floor???? we were not given any welcome drink on arrival. when we ordered snacks and tea, those were delivered to us cold and tasteless..
the new year celebrations were also pathetic. there were no waiters to serve us. my husband had to shake them everytime to get things done...
i will not recommend this resort to anyone. just go there to see it, not to stay it it..

Room Tip: just visit it, dont stay there..

It is located in Jaipur, exactly opposite the more famous Chokhi Dhani. The place offers all the features of the ethnic resort along with a contemporary design and comfort level. The service is courteous. We were staying there on 'HOLI' day and the staff was warm enough to provide us with colours and space to enjoy the occasion.

It is a good 25 minutes from the airport. Right opposite Chokhidhani. Turn left just before the third flyover when coming from Jawahar Circle. Traffic is heavy. So it takes nearly an hour after entering Jaipur.

The resort is located some 300 metres from the main road. This ensures that the atomosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Once inside the resort, you can forget the chaos of Jaipur. The lobby is pleasant and roomy. There is a nice walk to the rooms as one passes the underground bar, conference halls, coffee shop and restaurant. Hidden in its own grounds with a building hiding it is a great swimming pool, a spotless spa and a small gym.

The rooms are clean, well maintained and the beds are big and comfortable. The bathroom is also clean and tidy. Both the room and bathroom have fans and there is an exhaust fan that is very effective.

The only problem is that it takes a long time for hot water resulting in wastage of water waiting for the hot water. Second the water is never very hot. The other problem is the lighting in the room. It would be nice if a table lamp could be provided at the work table which is located at a corner where there is no lighting.

Breakfast is well laid out but somehow the quality stops from being good. The cutlery needs upgrading as reflects poorly to the environment.

Guests need to have transportation in case they plan staying at this property. It is quite a distance from MI Road, Railway Station and Bus Stand.

Room Tip: Try the Haveli Rooms or rooms overlooking the garden

I stayed there for 3 nights and 2 days with friends, it was a quite good experience, food and drinks were good and nicely cooked, the resort is opposite to "chhokidhani resort". Staff was good and humble. well maintained large property area with specious room, we stayed in a single cottage, nice, peaceful environment, hopeful that they will maintain their standard.

Room Tip: Cottage Accommodation are good to stayed near central ground area.

Whenever I go to Rajasthan, I love the ethnic look and traditional customs going there. But, when we go to a hotel, I am not expecting the hotel to take me back in time, with no modern amenity.

A perfect mixture of village and modern life. Its worth every penny you spend- whether its food, look, service or modern comfort.
It was a unique experience as its based on a ethnic theme and staff was too courteous and welcoming. Its a nice picturesque resort if you are looking for mix of comfort and ethnicity. Nicely maintained lawns, swimming pool, kids area and lots of open space.

Planning to go there again.

the hotel may seem nice from outside, but the rooms are terrible! when i checked in, the rooms were dusty and the TV wasn't working for 1 whole day!! the WiFi connectivity is so bad that i had to sit outside my room just to surf the net.
i was hoping that the swimming pool would be nice but it wasn't cleaned for the 3 days of my trip, you can see the photos uploaded.
the showers were not working properly and nobody seemed to care about it even after several phone-calls and reminders. the hotel is a bad imitation of Choki Dhani, which is just opposite this hotel. the food was't extravagant and there was no variety but it wasn't terrible.

it is a terrible place, in my opinion.
