We visited Barbecue Nation on our second night stay in Jaipur after reading great reviews on Trip Advisor, we were not disappointed.
It cost us 300 rupees (around £4 to get there and back, the rickshaw waited) around 9-10km from where we were staying at Vineyak Guest house (which I also highly recommend)
The restaurant is situated at the front of a nice big clean building, maybe a mall of some sort, I'm unsure, with staff waiting at the door to book your table.
We went on a Tuesday evening and was fairly quiet upon arrival, however it did get rather busy towards us leaving at 8.30pm ish.
The ambience inside is clean, calm & welcoming. We were shown to our table & offered drinks promptly with water filled up free of charge straight away.
They explained the concept of how Barbaque Nstion worked & we chose the non veg option consisting of a big hot grill in the middle of our table and constant supply of meat & fish on skewers. Chicken, fish, shrimp, pineapple, potatoes, mushroom, cottage cheese, with a selection on dips and sauces.
The staff was quickly replacing and empty skewers with full meaty new ones.
Once you finish the starters of skewers you help yourself to the extensive buffet with lots of choice.
The bill cost us around 1500 rupees,
We felt the restaurant was excellent value for money and would also like to thank the staff for a lovely evening.
The best restaurant we've visited so far on our travels in India
