“Business Hotel in India”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

I was a bit apprehensive when my friends decided to go on a trip to India over the long weekend because we didn’t have class. They said it was going to be really affordable and we’d all enjoy the scenery. When we got there we took the cab going to our hotel. From outside I could see that it was a small hotel just along the road. Upon entering to check in with my friends, the strong yellow painting on the lobby walls greeted us. I identified it then that it must be a budget hotel. I wanted to set my mind to not have too much expectation but my expectations were surpassed. Although some other factors that cannot be controlled, the staff were very friendly. They introduced us to different scenic spots to visit near the place and gave up tips to take care of ourselves while we strolled around the city. The rooms were typical but very clean. India has surpassed my expectations and would definitely visit my new found friends.

My husband and I went on an impromptu roadtrip to Jaipur from Delhi without any prior bookings. While looking for another hotel in this location, we chanced upon Kailrugji. We stayed for a couple of nights and had a pleasant experience.
I am surprised and disheartened to read the negative reviews of the place. Wonder if the management has changed. We stayed in Kailrugji in 2010 and had a lovely experience.
Pros:
1. Spacious, clean rooms
2. Reasonably priced (We also got a discount)
3. Extremely courteous and caring staff

Cons:
1. Food. You should not count on the hotel food unless you are too lazy to step out. There are numerous good choices nearby. We did order room service once and it was ok.
2. Limited parking

Stayed as a couple in December 2010.

Room Tip: Do ask for a discount when you make the booking or during check-in if you have just walked in.

Simply sucks. The service is pathetic. Food is terrible with half the options in the menu not available. The owner is has a stuck-up attitude and rooms are just superficially clean ! No parking space available. Cook is not available half the time, so room service is pathetic. I suggest do not go to this hotel to save your trip !

Room Tip: Rooms on ground floor are less terrible

Average hotel with none of the autowallahs or taxi drivers aware of its existence. Food is average and rooms are fine. But there is no room service and the guest has to walk down to the ground floor for each and every need.
Not good for business travellers!

Centrally located and well appointed, this family run hotel really is just like home!

The food is simple and nutritious and made with love. There are no fancy menus and al a carte service, rather a home cook meal with choice of the day, served by attentive staff. You eat what they eat, just like home.

The rooms are simple and very clean. The beds are comfortable with extra linen provided. Enjoy your creature comforts, just like home.

The staff are friendly and genuinely interested in making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, both at the hotel and well received guidance around Jaipur. Everything you need is available to make your stay feel, just like home.

There is wifi available in the lobby, dinning area and rooms. There is also soon to be a recreation room. A real living area, just like home.

I had been traveling for almost 2 months before arriving at Kailrigji and within moments i felt relaxed and comfortable, just like home!

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for a couple of days, and i must say that this small family run place is a hidden jewel in jaipur. The hotel is well run and maintained very well. The food is basic but home cooked and can be made as per guests preference (only veg).
The rooms are spacious and very clean, though couple of rooms which face the road are a bit noisy.
All in all a good hotel, little expensive but a safe bet.
