“Good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2014

I was reluctant to go to another touristy restaurant recommended by our tour guide. They said there would be dancing, which sounded fun so we decided to check it out. I'm glad I did - the food was good and sitting outside watching the traditional Rajasthani dancers was a lot of fun. I recommend sitting outside, if its not too hot. Inside the restaurant is boring and non-descript, but outside is charming.

“Fairly good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

Good service. We didn't have to wait for a table for dinner as the place was empty except for a couple of tables (all tourists). Entertainment of traditional Indian dancers and live music around a fire place make the distinction for you to want to go there. Food is good, but not spectacular. Good chance for tourists to enjoy dinner while watching the dancers perform balancing jars on top of their heads and rattling the chains on their gowns, even take pictures thanking with them (of course in exchange for some tip)

“Reliable food, close to the palace, a nice experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

The food was good, service good, and we didn't have to wait a long time for the food.
The original owner had a relationship with the MidWest, went to school there and honored his time there with this clean, good Indian food restaurant.
We ate outside in the garden, and enjoyed the quiet of this restaurant behind a city wall.

“Honest food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

The food was nice but the atmosphere was not particularly interesting. The air cond was not working properly. We had a spinach dish that was delicious. The staff was nice and the food came fast.

“good service but overpriced and bland food..”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

Our driver recommeded this place for a fun western evening with traditional dancers and lovely food. We were greeted and seated in the nice little courtyard. I ordered a few other relatively standard indian dishes and naan with a banana lassi but was disapointed in the complete lack of any spice in the food. Our hotels restaurant was far better quality for alot less. The ambience and service was generally good but the food let it down im afraid.

Dear Sir thank you very much for your comment i appreciate you. You dislike the food because there is no spice, sir most of the tourist client dont want the spice in the food and in our restaurant we serve both spice and non spice food as per customer choice. As per my knowledge i think you didnt ask for spice food thats why the food came to your table is non spice.
