“Royal Rajasthan - Jaipur”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2010

Hotel Mansingh is a very Royal stay in Jaipur. Here you can closely feel the tradition of rajasthan with a great comfort.

Most of the known shopping places are easily reachable. Our stay was a short one for 2 days only, but we enjoyed each moment there.

- Amer is a great fort to be visited.
- Raj Mandir is a theater which can't be matached with any other theater.
- shopping in pink city is really which you can't miss.
- etc...

The mansingh palace is a pleasant, modern hotel with a very nice lobby where you can sit for coffee (if you wish). There was a friendly bar with a good choice of bar snacks if you did not feel like using the dining room. The hotel put on a lavish buffet dinner with an enormous range of indian and european food.

We found reception to be helpful and the hotel's gardens were tidy and well cared for. Room service is quite satisfactory. the hotel also boasts the famous sheesh mahal multi-cuisine restaurant serving delicious lunch and dinners. One can enjoy a variety of coffees at the ripples - 24 hr coffe shop. Besides, there is a well stocked bar serving indian and international wines.

The hotel also has a swimming pool. overall it can be a good choice for those who are ready to pay more. rates are a bit high in comparsion to other hotels in this area.

Unique mixture of traditional, ethical and luxury gives you complete feeling of rajasthan. One of best place to rest while on trip to see golden traingle (jaipur, agra and mathura) of india. The ambience of hotel fills with freshness and anxiety on your trip.

We stayed in this hotel while on trip to Jaipur for a wedding. The decoration of the hotel is too gaudy and austentatious and it is visible that it is just bothered to attract foreign tourists and would care two hoots about you if are brown skinned. The rooms were spacious but too near for comfort. The room service part was wanting too and the only silver lining was the breakfast they serve on their terrace in open air setting. The staff was apparently too looking out for dollar tips type and would disregard you as soon as you will enter as they know foreigners are better tip payers then indians...Wish the management would look into this discrimination against indians in their own country....

The hotel is a perfect blend of the traditional and modern styles of architecture and interior decor. The lobby, especially, is beatifully set up.
It's an excellent spot for relaxing and fitness, what with a Jaccuzi and a state-of-the-art gym.
It's pretty well situated in Jaipur - just 1 km from the railway station and about 14 km from the airport.
