Stayed here for a week while on business. My company selected this hotel as it is close to our office in Thane. Apparently it is the best option in the area. Staying near the office was advised due to the monsoon rains which can make travelling long distances by road difficult.
Hotel had all the basics, but some of the "extra touches" were lacking. The place appeared to be a relatively old building but some parts (including my room) had been modernised to some extent. The room was OK, clean and with a comfortable double bed. TV had many international channels including BBC, CNN and movies. Bathroom was fine, again looked new and was clean. Free broadband connection in room. Air conditioning worked fine. Fridge in the room, free water provided but no other drinks in the fridge (guess you can buy from outside or room service).
The hotel was let down by the other facilities. The swimming pool was full of black water and could not be used. The hotel I could see from my window accross the road has clear blue water!! The hotel was noisy on occasion, the soundproofing appeared to be very poor. The people answering the room service phones were not polite and did not speak good English, however the people delivering the food (and the housekeeping staff) were polite and friendly. Requests for iron, etc. were responded to promptly.
Quality of the food from the room service was OK, but not great, although prices were not exceptionally high for a hotel. Breakfast was a fairly limited selection and not especially great. I did not try bars and restaurants.
All in all an OK hotel if you don't need full 5 star service and want something in Thane.
