“A great deal in Mumbai”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2014

I real a great deal for its price in an expensive city like Mumbai,
Located on a hilltop, its expansive (not expensive), large property located in lush green locales. Though slightly off route yet once one moves in, there would be no cause of regret. Good food. Reasonably prices.

I simply loved it.

Room Tip: I trust all rooms are terrific. In fact I had booked the lowest range

Stayed in the villas for a special occasion twice...Two nights on both occasions...Was treated well...Massive room..private wading pool ( Scary because too many construction sites around...Wonder who's peeping in !! ) Bathroom was awesome...Massage chair in your room...which was subsequently removed due to maintenance issues..Had a blast...food buffet average...Ambience stunning...staff ok...getting worse...The main problem is maintenance...they cant keep it the way it was made...Looks like a lack of funding and interest in upkeep....Common Pool is awesome...If managed well this is an amzing property...the villas are desperately in need of overhaul !! Privacy issues with the Wading pools in the villas...Please get your act right guys...otherwise its downhill from here.

Room Tip: Villas ... if you are a couple...Super time !!

Me and my wife stayed in this hotel in February, 2010 on our way to Singapore and February 2011on our way to Dubai. The Hotel provides complementary airport pickup and drop service. The property is located in Goregaon surrounded by hills giving a great view. The rooms were elegant. We were well received at the Reception. We had complementary Breakfast and Lunch. The Buffet arrangements were excellent with live Dance/singing programme.

Room Tip: Rooms giving Hill View be preferred.

A splendid property from a distance and even upto entrance lobby. However, you can start experiencing poor services and mismanagement from there itself. Neither check in is smooth, nor the way to escalators are marked. Carpets have distinct stink, as not seen the sunlight since ages, a very unhygienic feeling. Rooms are big and lavish, but no maintenance, absolutely no maintenance. Breakfast time is most horrible both in terms of service and spread. What a way to mismanage a lavish property.

Room Tip: Enter at your won risk

I used to love staying at the Palms for two - three weeks ; twice a year because of the location. Away from the mad city rush and the view. But it is time to reconsider. Staff turn around is horrific. All the brilliant staff have left. Serious management problems. The food used to be excellent but has gone totally poor. There is no service what so ever. Ordering soft drinks has always been a problem, they are always warm and a choice of 2 at the most.
From being a busy hotel, it's like a ghost town now. The renovations don't help either as there is continues noice. No hot water in the evening. AC doesn't work most of the time.

Room Tip: The villas were excellent. Don't know now; as they have been closed for renovations.

When you are heading from Pune to London and not very glad about flight cancellation....get to land in this beautiful property all away from the hustle and scorching heat of the city is bliss!
was extremely satisfied with the hotel lobby, amazing job by the bellboy/doorperson who alone took all our luggage to the rooms split wide away from the elevators.Kiddos!
delicious dinner and wide spread of breakfast did a magic...the rooms were pretty and cooling..proper help from front desk and concierge staff. This was all unplanned but I'm so glad it was in my destiny or else you cant afford to miss this place....hard to discover a place like this in Mumbai..i was stunned!! ..would love to visit again with my hubby...love!

This place is more like a remote - forgotten resort. Not easily accessable and we have go through a very long and dirty road through Aaray Colony. Check in was smooth, room is reasonably good. Food is too expensive and room service pathetic. A decent meal could cost you anything between Rs.2000 upwards. Cabs & Autos refuse to go this place as the location is very remote. Hotel promised pick up and drop facility at the entrance of Aaray colony but when requested they said cars are not available. However they are willing to provide a cab for Rs.800 for a drop at the airport. Terrible experience. May be the property is good for run away couples or for some illegal activities. Will never stay here again.

Room Tip: Not recommended
