We came across Imbiss while surfing the net and what caught my eye was the tag line 'The meating place'. For a meat lover like me, it was an invitation I could not refuse...and the restaurant lived upto all my expectation and more!!! Situated in the heart of old Bandra, this small joint is a haven for meat lovers. The dishes range from bratwursts, baby spare ribs, ham and beef sandwiches to bacon garlic bread. We were a large group and between us we ended up tasting a whole lot of dishes there. Each dish was distinctive in its flavour and taste. The prices are reasonable ranging from Rs 180 to the most expensive dish on the menu costing Rs 385. We paid under Rs 2500 for a meal for 8 persons ( all hearty meat eaters) which included soft drinks. Imbiss at bandra does not serve any alcohol. The restaurant is small and hence does get a little overcrowded. But the ambience is good. may not be suitable for a romantic or a quiet dinner....but definitely worth a visit if you are with friends and looking for a reasonably priced wholesome meaty food. The place is closed on Mondays and since it is in one of the small lanes of the bandra Village, parking may be a problem though there is ample parking on the main road, a little distance away. I would recommend this place to every meat lover and i promise you you will keep going there again and again! And yes, they do not book tables...so go in early for your meal!
