“Must See”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

What an awesome building. The architecture was amazing and all of the buildings that surround VT are just as stunning. Reminded me a bit of St Pancras in London

“Mesmerizing architecture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Shivaji Terminus is a World Heritage site originally built during the British Raj. All visitors to Mumbai should stop and take in the magnificence of this building, which combines Gothic and Arabesque architecture. Two large lion statues atop the gate add to the uniqueness.

“An example of lack of maintenance and care”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

The exterior is relatively well kept although there is a horrible addyion in the back that looks like it is being torn down. It is a great sorrow to see this marvelous piece of architecture so poorly kept. You should move it to the list of sites in danger.

“Exquisite architecture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

What a beautiful building! We didn't go inside to the museum (which requires an entrance fee), but we did walk along the sidewalk and admired the facade, and we also went into the train station and booking office. Definitely a must-see for the beauty of it.

“Good for photos, nothing else.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

This is one of the few great british era buildings left in the city and provides for a good photo opportunity. But there is nothing here apart from it. The structure is not well maintained on the outside and inside it is even worse.

Come here, take a photo and move on. Nothing else to do.
