“'A must visit site' in Mumbai”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

Being a admirers of Gandhi, I found this place very uplifting. One gets the feeling that Gandhi still lives here. This is the house where Gandhi had spent some years and it is easy to feel his presence here. The museum itself is not over the top, and maintains the simplicity which is the hallmark of Gandhi's life style. There are good displays and photos but most of all I found that I was in the presence of Gandhi here.

Really a piece of history. It's really interesting and this place should get more representation.

“Interesting place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

While a little disorganised - or at least seeming to be - this is a very interesting place to visit for an hour or so. A series of dioramas show scenes from life of the great man, Mahatma Gandhi, and other exhibits in the building will help you to get a sense of his significance for India.

A really interesting museum on a par with the Anne Frank Museum. Learned lots about the founding father of independent India gave you a real feel for the man and the time
