“A busy but enjoyable place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

Lots of things to do and see, varying from cheap and nasty to extremely expensive - find the level you are comfortable with, and enjoy Colaba for what it is.

We always walk miles when in Colaba and look forward to our next visit.

“Awesome Place for Sightseeing and Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Really everyone visiting Mumbai should visit this place, Lot of Roadside shops are there, it will be a nice shopping exp, you can bargain and buy items, but Kalbadevi is much cheaper than this, But shopping exp u cant get there, here a brisk walk at evening, have some food at good restaurants, bargain and shop at roadside shops, Really awesome exp. But once again it depends on an Individual how they feel. For me u can get a good shopping exp here with lot of options.

“Was expecting more”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Apart from the obvious - Gateway of India, Taj, market along Colaba Causeway Rd, etc, this area is a real mix of run down mansions, fishermans' village, tiny shops and charities next to very plush antique shops and residential areas which basically sums up Mumbai. Huge areas are being developed (mainly for shops and hotels) surrounded by pockets of slums - I'm sure in another 10 years this area will be totally unrecognisable.
