Just returned after spending 4 days at the Ramada. I find this Hotel very acceptable and good value for money. The area is excellent, nr airport, an a beach so plenty of excersise by walking long stretches, few good shops. Service is efficient right from the doormen who are exceelent, to the concierge boys who gbive excellent help and service and to the reception desk who are always friendly and helpful and remeber you from previous stays. Business centre is adequat and has the facility for interview rooms shouldyou ever need. Bedrooms are large, clean and give a great view of the beach. I would give this hotel and excellent rating.

Although some rooms starting to look a bit dated, clean and well located hotel on Juhu beach. For Mumbai, good value..paid 195 USD taxes in for NSK. Located close to the food stalls on Juhu where everyone congregates. Well equipped health club but hours are segregated, men early morning and from six pm on, women during the day only.
Short rickshaw ride to restaurants and shopping.

Free AC taxi to airport ans half hr ride (forty minutes or so in evening traffic).
Area is very popular weekends/weekend nights causing slow traffic.

Fifteen min rickshaw ride to Lokawala area where malls/movies/markets are available.

Internet available, 500 R for on hour..but beware, the further off rooms don't have wireless reception, there is an internet cafe in the hotel

I stayed here for 2 nights in January 2007.

This is a 3 star OK, a low end at that.

They advertised broadband in the rooms, I was getting download speeds of 5kbps for god's sake, and sometimes even 1.62 kbps- I joke you not!

Fraud is rampant, it seems. They tried to charge me for 7 nites stay (even though I booked for only 2). My credit card company declined the charge!! because they suspected fraud, and when I spoke to them, they (credit card company in the US) said fraud was rampant from this particular Ramada!!

Room service is good, though, efficient service, but very limited menu.

My room did have great great views- not of the sea but of the throngs of people at Juhu beach.

My advice is stay away from this one, its just not worth the money, even in Mumbai

I travel from the US to Bombay for business every two months for a one to two week stay every time. I work mainly in the Bandra/Juhu/Khar area and have tried four hotels in the area (Orchid included). My budget is limited as I work for a non-profit organization. This hotel is by far the best price/quality. Service is on average very good; the food is very decent (I eat mostly Indian food so I can't judge their western food) ; room service is very good; the rooms are spacious and clean; same for the bathrooms. I have stayed here four times over the last year and have liked it every time. Internet connection - wireless - is excellent but expensive (500 IR per day). They have small business rooms for meetings which are also good. I tried their healthclub once but was frustrated that after 6pm the Sauna etc are for men only (during the day it is open to women only). As a working woman I was a bit offended when told I should just come during the day! The price of the hotel went up recently which makes it harder to justify my two week stay there.
