I stayed at the Ramada Palm Grove for 4 weeks - yes 4 weeks - on business, so I think I am well qualified to comment on the hotel and staff - more so than some of the people who have only stayed one night. The staff throughout the hotel are some of the best I have come across in my travels around the world - and I travel a lot. Being a 'long stay' guest, I was invited to a cocktail party once or twice a week - with complimentary drinks and delicious snacks. This was also a great opportunity to chat to senior members of staff in an informal setting. I felt that my opinions were valued and noted. The food was very good, and reasonably priced, both in the buffet restaurant and in the Chinese restaurant. Excellent service from restaurant, bar, room service and reception staff. I left a note for my room service lady that I had lost an earring - she found it down one of the corridors, and returned it to my room with a kind note. Rooms spacious, all clean and regularly maintained. Internet a little sporadic, but I didn't have to pay when it wasn't working. Pool was shabby and needs a coat of paint and a few plants. The smell by the pool noted by a previous resident in this website comes from the beach and is not the responsibility of the hotel. Location is good for the airport, but a LONG way from the centre of Mumbai. Juhu itself is a pretty downmarket place, colourful but with only basic shops. It does not have much 'upmarket' Bollywood glamour that I could see! Overall I really enjoyed the stay - I got to know most of the staff during my long stay, and I would certainly recommend this hotel very highly.

Just returned from our first time visit to India & we were little sceptical about the Ramada Palm Grove...from the reviews that we had seen, however surpassed our imagination....excellent location...abit crowded & abit overpriced, so if you going for a peace of mind this is definately not the hotel, however, centrally located near Juhu beach, rooms very clean, restaurant excellent...will not hesitate rebooking again. Staff very courteous. Our travel agent certainly did a good job.

Specific Complaints:
Day 1 - No water until after 8.00pm we were not informed of this until after we booked in
Day 2 - No internet connection all day, i was on business so neeed to download files but couldn't
Day 3 - Light system failed at 12.30am leaving all lights fully on had to have maintenance called and we failed to get any sleep on last night

As well the pool area stinks of urine because everyone from the beach urinates against the back wall of the hotel, the upper roof terrace was derilict with nowhere to sit. The food in the hotel was absolutely dreadful the worst in our trip and left me and my wife with upset stomachs.

This is no where near a 5 star hotel and all photos are extremly misleading.

Do not stay here. I booked through Desiya.com and they didn't want to know when I called to complain what does this say about them??

Just returned after spending 4 days at the Ramada. I find this Hotel very acceptable and good value for money. The area is excellent, nr airport, an a beach so plenty of excersise by walking long stretches, few good shops. Service is efficient right from the doormen who are exceelent, to the concierge boys who gbive excellent help and service and to the reception desk who are always friendly and helpful and remeber you from previous stays. Business centre is adequat and has the facility for interview rooms shouldyou ever need. Bedrooms are large, clean and give a great view of the beach. I would give this hotel and excellent rating.
