“The best housekeeping staff I have ever come across...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

I bumped into this hotel by chance. Just called up one night before check in and got excellent deal. The check in was smooth. Staff was cordial. Food was good. Although the property is not brand new in feel. But you wont be disappointed at all. The house keeping staff is very cooperative. The only disappointment was delayed response on intercom. Overall a good experience.

This hotel is definitely not suited to business stays. Getting in and out of Juhu is a disaster. The hotel is supposed to be a 5 star, but I was surprised by the rates....they are not 5 star rates. When I arrived there, I realized that it is definitely not 5 star.mit is however not too bad at all, and is somewhere between 3 and 4 star by international standards.
Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was OK, and the Thai restaurant was actually very nice. There is also a good pub.

I've been visiting Ramada for the last couple of years & its a decent place to stay. Its right on the Juhu beach, but the pool exit to the beach is permanently closed, so one has to go around the hotel walking through the dusty main road.
The sea facing rooms are worth it, the others nothing special. In fact, this time I felt that the paint work needed patching up & the cupboards definitely need a revamp.
The hotel bf is decent again & nothing to complain about.
What I did like was the little tour destination booklets available free @ the reception counter that offer a comprehensive suggestive guide of things worth taking a look at in Mumbai.
All in all a nice hotel, but in much need of a facelift & some smarter staff.

We had a pleasant stay at the Ramada Juhu. The best part of the hotel was its location. The Juhu beach was very accessible-much better access to the beach than the other hotels in the same area. There were a good number of restaurants of varying price range nearby- you could get your pau-bhaji/bhel puri at the beach or go for a sumptuous sea food meal at Mahesh lunch place. The airport was also not too far. ( ~20 mins) Airport pick up was complementary and we had a courteous friendly person pick us up and bring us to the hotel. Taxies were always available and we could get to other places and back quite effortlessly. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The swimming pool area could do with better landscaping. The beach was ok to visit on the weekdays but was incredibly crowded on weekend evenings. Being close to the beach, we could easily go in the early mornings when it was less crowded. Breakfast was included and was a large spread with a good variety. Overall a good value for money.

Room Tip: Get a sea facing room. THe views are great

I chose this hotel 'coz I thought it was closer to my work destination in the suburbs and close to some good shopping. While that is definitely true, the rooms etc were a tad disappointing. I had asked for a pool facing hence sea facing room..we did get one..except it faced the main facade, one had to crane one's neck to see the sea and ...was on the first floor. Anyone who knows Mumbai will know that is a place to avoid. And to make matters worse, there was a wedding celebration at the garden next door with v loud music et al. Guess they can't do much about the music but if u do choose to stay here do yourselves a favour- ask for a room on a higher floor. Also did I mention there was 1 pesky mosquito in the room that escaped all my attempted murder attempts? The buffet breakfast etc was all right, the Indian food section is alright but the bacon looked like it had seen better days. The restt - I had one meal there and it didn't help that the waiter asked us to move to a smaller table because there were only two of us...given that restt was empty anyways. The naans were nice though...all in all, checks the boxes but definitely not a five star experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor sea-facing room, definitely the former -as far away frm first floor as possib...
