“Truly remarkable, THE must see if traveling around Mysore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

This small temple is wonderfully maintained despite having been ransacked in the past. Many stone carved reliefs are scattered about but the main temple complex is wonderfully preserved. The level of detail in the carvings around the outside is astounding, made all the more impressive that each carving is unique...it's not an endless repetition of the same figure but rather different stories and settings all told in sequence. The temple itself is dedicated to three manifestations of Vishnu so much of the art relates to him. I would really highly receommend this visit!
