“Homely, comfortable, clean stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2011

The hotel rooms' got the cleanest of floors you will find in any hotel of this standard & tariffs. Very spacious rooms, especially if you get it in the front (main) building, the rooms at the end of the corridor have a small sitting area facing the railway tracks. Its a nice place to just sit & chat.

Bathrooms are clean, the floor has seen a bit of patchwork recently, but decent.

Excellent food. The complimentary breakfast spread is not lavish, but filling.

Good value & comfort for money.

This was a pleasant enough, if unexceptional hotel for a one night stay in Mysore. They had lost the record of our booking and deposit, but accepted this when I handed them my copy of the e-mail correspondence and payment details.

A standard air-conditioned room here was pretty ordinary and a bit tired, especially the shower room, but it was a spacious room and things worked fine.

The attached restaurant was wonderful with cheerful staff, an excellent varied menu and was definitely the best thing about our stay here.

The hotel was located up a quiet road off a busy highway so it was quiet, but did not seem particularly close to anything, so a rickshaw was required to get to anywhere of interest within Mysore.

Service - was bad. They told us they didnt keep both our rooms (non-AC) so one room was to be upgraded for one night to a better room. Instead of being apologetic, it was like 'We screwed up, but I have now given u a better room so be happy". Much fighting ensured we would keep the room both nights.
Room was decent. The AC suites are decent and spacious. The non-AC is a bit cramped but nice/decent overall. Bit more cupboard space would be nice but this was adequate. Enough for light/business travelers.
However, the toilet seat broke in our suite 1st night, so we anyways changed the room! :)
Location was awesome - CENTER of city. You can walk to Palace etc if u like walking. Shopping areas and the vaunted dasaprakash are close by.
The room is well furnished for the price - the best is the FOOD. Their restaurant trumps Dasaprakash anyday on all counts - the food was out of the world. And the breakfast buffet here is to die for. SUPER value for money at the price! Got cornflakes/sandwiches/fruits over and above indian spread - recommended for international guests.

The hotel is worth it for the restaurant itself :-)

This is the usual hotel where I stay during my business visit to Mysore. Right in the heart of the city this gives you ample of comfort and delicacy of food. This hotel doesn't carry any Star* rating but is very good and very economical.

Even if you are on personal visit this is good hotel for family stay. It has pure vegetarian restaurant which serves various cuisines.

i frequently stay in this hotel during my visits to mysore. It is very good option due to its
closeness to railway station and city center. i have stayed in all types of rooms there.
all are clean and tidy. good value for money with basic A/c and non A/c rooms in their old building and the newly built annex has posh rooms and moderately priced.
they offer all rooms with CP plan. it has a nice veg restaurant and food is good.
Has a travel desk arranging cabs for the local and out station transfers and sightseeing
at nominal cost.

Located at the heart of Mysore, this hotel provides comfortable accommodation. The restaurant here is very good - so food is the big plus point. Too bad that we missed the free buffet breakfast. Room was good and spacious. Bathroom was a little cramped and reasonably clean. Room service is average, and so is the service at reception.
