“Ambience hard to beat in Delhi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

I have been visiting the Cafe Turtle (Khan Market) for years now and the ambience is hard to beat in Delhi which is why I return again and again. Although the cakes and juices are generally of a high quality, and the staff friendly and efficient, the meals are what I would call "reliably mediocre". They are overpriced and there are seldom new menu items. But as long as there is a lack of choice of places with a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere, people will continue to flock here to escape the summer heat and enjoy a refreshing juice.

“Not worth your Penny..!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2013

This place really need a quality check of their food items, ambience and service. The whole idea of this set up is very good but it’s not a good experience to visit this place anymore. The price for the type/quality of food is quite ridiculous. The portion size of pastries/bread cakes/drinks is not really worth per crumb of your money. The set up looks sad and crampy, too congested. With Dunkin Donuts,Coffee Bean and Starbucks in town I don’t see much scope for these outlets with shocking rates and sub-standard menu choices/quality. We paid almost 1000 INR for 2 tea/I cold coffee and 2 cake. Which was not really worth it and I don’t not even bother to further check why it was so expensive. But yes no more trips to this outlet. Just because you have a good location does not mean you would not care for the real intent of your service – food/beverages/seating etc.A good concept coffee chain, but I guess needs a major upgrade.

Returned to the Turtle Cafe in Khan Market after several years, standards have slipped, food is mediocre and the service pedestrian.

“Lovely ambiance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Went for a quick sandwich and coffee to Cafe Turtle in N block Greater Kailash - and it felt like it was bit of the Mediterranean in the heat and dust of Delhi! For one it is located on the 3rd floor( there is an elevator, thankfully) high above the shops and cars below, so noise level is considerably reduced and peaceful. the decor of this little cafe is in bright yellows and blues, eclectic pictures on the walls with assorted books on the shelves. And the food - all vegetarian - such a welcome change. The toasted croissant sandwich I had was crunchy and fresh and the cold coffee - cold and strong. The ambiance was perfect and the service pretty good too. You can be sure I will be back to this little gem of a cafe.

“Nasty staff and terrible food at GK I branch”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

I was rudely made to vacate the table when the staff realised I wasn't placing a second order quickly! I was doing some writing work, after having their pomegranate juice, and despite that, the waiters came to my table almost 5 times to ask me (condescendingly) if I wanted to place another order, because there were "more people waiting in que for a table and I should otherwise shift to another smaller table".

Don't EVER visit this place, because it is misogynistic and has nasty staff, and the quality of the food is overpriced and terrible. The pomegranate juice hardly tasted like it had real pomegranate in it, and even their cheese cake which I had some weeks/months ago, did not taste all that good at all.
