“Just lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014 via mobile

Stayed here only for a couple of nights, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Aditi and her team were warm and friendly and were happy to offer advice and information.
The area is lovely and we were happy to walk around the neighbourhood to see what was around. A bonus that Anokhi is just around the back of B Nineteen!
We went by tuk tuk to khan market, which was a short drive away for shopping, lunch and dinner. We also had a meal made for us on arrival at B Nineteen which was delicious especially as we had been on a train for 28 hours.
The room was comfortable, cosy and cheerful and the showers...yes two showers in one cubicle was amazing.
I will be coming back to Delhi and my first choice for accommodation will be B Nineteen. Thank you

The owners Rajive and Janis are architects, and the style of the décor and design of the property reflect this. We met them during our stay, both were both engaging and charming despite the fact they were in the immediate throes of a reunion after Rajive had just returned from an exhausting trip to America. Engaging and charming are adjectives that could equally be applied to Aditi, who helped manage our stay with warmth and intelligence. Her team did an excellent job too, we ate in each evening and enjoyed the quality of the food and the reliable and unfussy service of Parwan and Narinja. Our room was large, attractive and comfortable. The rooftop terrace is quite unique with its proximity to Humayun's tomb, and Nizamuddin East is in a great location with a superb café just around the corner in this leafy enclave. Delhi is a noisy and chaotic city, although Nizamuddin East is relatively quiet other than the very regular train horns which sounded like schoolchildren at large driving the trains. Overall, a very good and stylish Delhi option which is extremely well managed.

I would recommend B-19!

Things to know is that all the houses in this gated community (EAST Nizzamuddin) are numbered A-1, A-2, etc, B-19. Some people know it, especially once you are inside East Nizzamuddin. We actually got taken to B-19 in West Nizzamuddin the first time, and took a long time to actually get to the correct place.

Perhaps a map would be useful when booking.

We found it a little overpriced (we got the Penthouse Apartment at around $200 AUD for a night) but it is a lovely quiet location with a beautiful view. It was outside of our budget but Delhi seemed a little more expensive anyway so we thought why not!

Wifi wasnt working though, which was frustrating, and it costs 200 INR, and paying on credit card cost me 330 INR. But she didn't charge for the internet so that was no prob.

Great bed, good shower (except my partner actually had super low pressure as he showered before 7am, it was fine for me afterwards - so maybe it got turned on then?)

Service was excellent, Aditi was very kind and informative.

Thank you for your review and for recommending us.
My apologies that you had a hard time locating us. Usually we tell people in advance our location which is fairly easy to find with correct coordinates.
We ensure that our Wi-Fi is working smoothly but sometimes the trouble is with the service provider and we try our best to rectify it immediately with a clear understanding how important internet connection is to our guests.
We have a pressure pump to provide excellent temperature controlled showers to our guests and when I investigated why the loss of pressure occurred before 7am I found that the connection to the pump had tripped and was fixed immediately.
We hope to welcome you and your guests in the future; we work very hard to make bnineteen a special place to stay.

I don't normally write reviews, but after a lengthy stay in B nineteen(5weeks) I felt I needed to air my appreciation. I can honestly say the staff are great, Aditi, Ramon and the staff couldn't do more to help, and the premises are really well presented traditional yet modern. A great place to retreat to amid the bustle of Delhi, and if your lucky you can share your breakfast with the family of monkeys that sometimes greet you on your balcony!

We lived our stay at B-Nineteen so much we came back in the same holiday. The rooms as clean, pleasant and contemporary with plenty of space and facilities to match many five star hotels. Complimentary water which is often charged for in the big hotels, is in hand in plenty. The service we received from everyone was exemplary, but a personal mention has to go to the manager Aditi who could not have been more charming and helpful. Aditi made our stay, giving advice and suggestions when needed, booking things to help us out and making sure we felt completely at ease. B-Nineteen surpasses all expectations and ours were high. Many thanks, we look forward to returning. The only downside was the sound of the train horns...but this is India!

Room Tip: Try to get a room overlooking the garden square (on the other side of the building from the trains...

Recently stayed at B-19 for a family visit, for the second time. B-19 offers the best of both worlds--the next best thing to staying with one's family but with all the modern conveniences one needs. The location is in one of Delhi's loveliest neighborhoods, on a quiet street next to Humayan's Tomb. Imagine waking to the sound of chants from a nearby gurdwara, having a leisurely breakfast on the balcony adjacent to one's room and overlooking a beautiful park, and internet access that allows you to stay on the grid. Rooms are well appointed, and the bathrooms are the envy of my relatives who also travel to Delhi from outside India for family visits. Aditi, B-19's manager, and her staff are marvelous--they will help with getting laundry/dry cleaning done, taxi service, and recommendation for any other local services that are needed. We will be returning to Delhi soon for another family visit and plan to continue making this our base.

One feels at home here. The manager and staff go out of their way to make one's stay comfortable. The location is ideal to get to any place in Delhi and taxis are cheap, quick and safe, and Delhi traffic is not at all bad compared to other places in India. The heart of imperial Delhi is less than 15 minutes away and Humayun's tomb is literally next door. Very nice decoration with lovely objets d'art; the rooms are a bit modern but at the same time traditional, with carpets and lots of marble. Everything has been done with a lot of planning. A bonus here is the delicious Indian food prepared by the in-house chef; food can be prepared at short notice in order for them to get fresh produce. I absolutely loved the fish pakora and the spicy dry curry. Wifi is very good. Go for the suite on the top floor to have the best view towards gorgeous Humayun's tomb, one of Delhi's top sites. We were here for 5 nights and loved waking up early to enjoy the view and to listen to the birds singing their dawn chorus. Another bonus is the fact that the hotel is in an upmarket residential area, which gives the chance to explore another face of Delhi and India.

Room Tip: Go for the suite on the top floor for more privacy and the best views towards Humayun's Tomb.
