“Overrated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

We had great expectations about this place after reading the reviews here. They didn't live up to them at all. Room was spacious but not very clean. Sheets and towels were stained. The bathroom was damp and the shower was terrible. Our room was also used as a store room for sheets and towels. They kept bothering us constantly for them. The breakfast was nothing special. The location is very isolated. The only option to go to the mall or anywhere is to take a taxi (= their own driver) and it is very expensive, almost double the normal rate. If you want to explore the city, do not stay here.

Room Tip: Ask the one without the store room.

“A bit of fragrance always clings to the hand that gives roses”. The Stay Inn gave such a feeling where we stayed for almost two weeks. Caring nature and friendliness of the hosts made our stay worth remembering. We are willing to come back to this place once again.

Our Family converged on The Stay Inn from Portland & Denver and called The STAY INN
home for three weeks. "Home" because the owners, The Bhutani Family, treated us like extended family.
They served three COMPLETE meals a day and we stayed in massive rooms. Rajat Bhutani, a computer wizard, quickly had us wireless and soon we were "skypeing"
with family back home. The Stay Inn also fielded a fleet of modern, air conditioned, full-sized vans for sightseeing. Perhaps most stunning was the unexpectedly low price at checkout.
Can't say enough. ... Columbus Smith, Portland, Oregon USA

Touring India was a lifetime dream come true twice! Both times we stayed at The Stay Inn which made the trip comfortable, organized, and safe for us. The food was authentic, delicious Indian food but if we had wanted a more American cuisine, we could have had that as well. The owners were warmly welcoming and informative about India and what we should see. When we returned the second time four years after our first India trip, it was like coming home to The Stay Inn. If we return to India for a third time, we will definitely stay at The Stay Inn!

This bed and breakfast is the ideal place to stay in Dehli. It is as luxurious as a hotel but offers a personal touch. It is run by the Bhutani family that genuinely cares for your comfort and well being. The rooms are beautiful, clean, air conditioned, and surrounded by lush gardens. The food is healthy and authentic. It is a delicious blend of indian and western fare. The staff is friendly and attentive. Your private driver will battle Dehli traffic to escort you to the best markets, cultural events and historic sites. He will even protect you from vendors who jack up the price tenfold when they see an American. If you want to truly experience the culture like a homestay and still have your needs catered to like a VIP, then choose The Stay Inn. I am already planning to return for extended stays there.

Room Tip: ask for a room behind the main house

Bieautiful home in a beautiful setting. I spent two weeks with the Bhutani family and had a marvelous time. My room was private, clean pleaceful and beautifly funished. The meals were delicious. They are truly gracious hosts, that make you feel very much at home. The staff couldn't be more helpful. They will arrange trips and make sure you visit to Delhi is memorable.
You cannot go wrong staying at this wonderful Guest House.

We stayed at The Stay Inn B&B as clients of Medjourneys Med-travel. I accompanied a friend who had surgery at Max private hospital in Delhi. We chose to stay at the B&B vs. at a hotel. It was a brilliant choice. The Bhutani family (owners) are warm, caring and professional people with the interests of their guests at heart! The Bhutani's kindly & promptly provided us advice of all facets - from tourism, medical, to the trivial! The Bhutani’s are flexible, very organized and ensure you are punctual for any appointments or flights. They are so hospitable they shared a family birthday with us & introduced us to their visiting parents!

The spacious private rooms are quiet, very clean, comfortable and include a safe & mini-fridge. The house and property is very well kept and gated. The Bhutani's have numerous staff on duty day & night ensuring guests comfort and that the property remains clean and secure. Meals are prepared three times daily by their chef, or as requested. All meals were hearty, flavorful and healthy. They are happy to fill your meal requests.

If you have business needs, wireless internet is available everywhere at the B&B and laptops can be rented. Anything you need, they can provide.

Wherever you wish to visit, whether it is a tourist attraction, a salon, shopping etc., they have drivers on staff to take you. If you are uncomfortable at your destination, the driver will accompany you during your visit. The drivers are personable, friendly and very professional.

We made several new & very interesting friends staying at The Stay Inn, including the Bhutani's. We are deeply greatful to have had the Bhuntani's there for us during this adventure.
