This moving memorial allows you visit where he prayed each day, slept each night, and where he was martyred. A solemn path of footprints mark the last steps of his remarkable life.
If you are in Delhi, take a half-hour to touch a story from history, a story both ugly and beautiful. Don't miss this opportunity.
We unfortunately only had a few minutes here on a whirlwind tour of Delhi. There is a small memorial in the garden to Mahatma Gandhi (marking the spot where he was murdered). This a surprisingly peaceful place and a must see for anyone in Delhi. A truly historic site. There was some building work while we were there, but wished we had been given time to go round the museum and gallery.
