I stayed here for 10 nights in January, in a cracking apartment that overlooked the park.
Would I come here just to see the area itself? Probably not. But as a place to have as a base for you excursions across Delhi it's great, if a little on the pricey side. The whole village is centred in a beautiful park, with ruins, and lake and fields and is noticeably quiet compared to the rest of the city. It also feels a lot safer, as my and my friend would go for walks in the early hours of the morning (but gave the parks a miss).
Theres lots here to keep you occupied inbetween your big trips. Plenty of restaurants and a museum or two.
If you go, I can't recommend the Dzükou restaurant enough. It was recommended by my friend from Nagaland (north east India). Dzükou specialises in Naga and Thai food, and it was definitely the best meal I had in my whole time in India. It's also quite high up so the view is amazing.
