“Tasteless food..would never visit again!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

I visited this restaurant with a friend with the view of trying a new restaurant and it proved to be a wrong decision. We ordered the simplest of the simple foods - Dal Makhani and Kadhai Paneer. and what was served to us tasted nothing close to what we had ordered. I can't believe an Indian restaurant going wrong with such simple order. The ambiance was pleasing and so was the service, however the food was absolutely tasteless. Kadhai Paneer was like cottage cheese pieces dipped in tomato puree and Dal Makhani contained traces of split black urad lentil.
I would never recommend this restaurant to anybody. Disappointed. There is a lounging area next to the restaurant called Delhi Bar which I havn't been to. Try it at your own risk!!

“A 4 star treat to Indian Mughlai cuisine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

A truly memorable experience. My expectations were pretty freaking high but the place certainly lived up to it. Like most restaurants in Dwarka, finding a good parking space near this place and a comfortable lift to reach the top floor is the only problem.

The ambiance is nice and cozy, and the bar and restaurant areas are well divided. A projector screen was showing cricket in HD, something you don't see in other restaurants in Dwarka.

Coming to the food now, I ordered for a Murg Kali Mirch Tikka (dum pakwan special), Subz Seekh, Paneer Lababdar, Butter Naan and Tandoori Roti. They also serve a unique garlic+tomato chutney with starters.

The murg was excellent, well marinated and nicely cooked -just enough for you to absorb all the flavours in every bite. The subz seekh was a disappointment though - over-coated with green chilies you couldn't get the feel of the crunchy vegetables inside.

I have always believed the test of any good north indian restaurant is too see how fresh and crunchy their rotis and naan are - you shouldn't be left feeling heavy after eating them, instead they should be easy on your gums - so that you are craving for more. I am pleased to say that at this restaurant the rotis and naan were among the finest I have had.

The icing on the cake was the Paneer Lababdar, cooked in a true lucknowi gravy, you could experience the flavors of a fresh tomato gravy - a rare thing at most outlets in Delhi. This is one dish whose taste will linger on in your mouth even hours after you have consumed it.

The Mutton Sheekh Kebab had a lovely aroma to it out of the ordinary and the mushroom dimsums is a treat for mushroom lovers. Best part is everything seems fresh and they are ready to customize most of your dishes to satisfy your palette.

The customer service was very good and the complementary firni at the end was delightful. If in Dwarka or around, it is one place you must try out.
