Located next to a buzzing market, Khan Market, and close to India Gate the hotel is well within reach. On entry one feels safe as entrants are throughly checked. The lobby is small but looks cozy and the staff are inviting. The restaurants, located on the ground floor are visited by a large number of non-residents as well as such looks lively. There could be more helping had as some times it becomes too much for the two persons serving the bar. Food is nice so also rooms.

The service of this hotel is very good, it is centrally located, near khan market. The rooms are large and comfortable.Airconditioning is superb. Toilets are large with modern amenities..
But...
The coffee shop smells of stale oil...and the smell lingers on clothes, hair for the rest of the day.

I have stayed at this hotel thrice within last one year. I noticed that the name tagged a line, Taj by Vivavnta. This may not be a great surprise but the quality of service has definitely come down after adding this tag (I mean after the hotel changing the name and also changing the style). It felt like Taj hotel until up to Sep 2010. But nonethe less, I have always enjoyed staying at this property, and mostly stayed for business purposes only. I liked the breakfast which was set up at the Yellow Brick road restuarant until Sep, and it changed (may be for time being) in to something called dome......that place was dull and unimpressive. I am again visiting this property in Nov so will have to wait and watch if the name change has done any magic....

Not what you expect from Taj chain. Old hotel, almost disrupted. Several cracks in the corridor. Old, very old furniture in contrast with a huge flat tv screen. Humidity-smell everywhere. Bathroom clean but old and beaten. My room was at grounf floor close to the big air conditioning compressor: bad sleep time. The canteen is old and very bad. Breakfast worse than 2 star european hotel. Need urgent repair and overall improvement in service. Personnel friendly as all Indians are.

Last week we had a trip to New Delhi and stayed at this beautiful hotel. It is located in the heart of the city and all the tourist places are very near like India Gate was just about 1 km and Red fort was also very near which i find very helpful and saved us a lot of time
The Rooms had every thing which u need for a comfortable stay .
They even provided a great customer service and u even get extra bedding at no extra cost .
They even have a dinning place larry's china , they offered really interesting and yummy food my kids just loved it

I loved the stylish bar . that was superb

Stayed in the same hotel quiet a few time before. They have huge and lovely rooms facing the road. Rooms are so big that even the AC will not be able to cool you off. I have also loved the balcony they have though not much you can see from it. Good restaurant choice but food quality was ok. Location is very good. Not very far from the airport. Good eating joint nearby the hotel in case you get bored eating out of hotel.

Good for short stays (less than 3 days) in which you need to be in the heart of New Delhi. The location of this hotel is good, but the building is quite old and some of the corridors are rather musty. However, since it is a Taj Hotel, the service and F&B is good.
