It was a good stay - everyone was friendly, the food was good and the amenities were great. The bar 'Rick's' was a bit loud and the restaurant choices a bit limited. Breakfast wasn't the best I've seen and can be improved. Security is good and even room service was excellent.

Very professional guided Hotel at famous Location. I can recommend this location as a wonderful place, where everyone can get good value for the money to be payed. All facilities are very clean, just the buffet Food choices should have more western style Options... Missing smokig Areas inside the building... Even not in the Lobby are smokers "welcome."

Its among the top hotels of India, one should explore the same. This is the second Taj Mahal of India and I always rate this property as the best Taj Hotel of Indian hotel industry. In my opinion this is the Kohinoor among-st the different diamonds of Taj group of hotels.

The staff at this hotel are almost too nice, they ooze professionalism and courtesy to the point of overkill to us reserved British folk! I wouldn't change that though, we should get used to being taken care of and served to high standards, after all it's not a cheap and cheerful hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the bed, and the old fashioned but charming wood finish makes you feel at ease. This hotel has a great stylish bar and several excellent restaurants. The opulent reception area buzzes with excitement as people meet and greet, have tea and there's usually a sense of chatter giving the hotel an energy of anticipation. The pool area and gardens are absolutely beautiful. It's ideally located near the diplomatic area and a walk from Khan market. The experience from start to finish is that the staff care, even if it's a bit embasrrasimg at first!

Room Tip: Overlooking the pool and peaceful greenery

We stayed here as the first stop on a 7 day tour of the Rajasthan section of India. Our room was very clean, great air conditioning, lots of hot water, free bottled water, and plenty of linens. The staff are very friendly and eager to please. There are several restaurants to choose from and the food quality is very good (pricey however). We went to an event our first night and ate in a restaurant in the Gurgaon area and three of us ate and had drinks for 2200 rupees. The buffet lunch at the Taj is 1960 rupees per person. The hotel is frequented primarily by business travelers (very few if any families) hence the pricey food and drink. They also have a wonderful outdoor pool to relax in. The wifi is free but quite slow during the evening when everyone is online and it stopped working several times but they were quick to fix it.

This hotel ooozes professionalism and is ideally located for the Diplomatic area. The staff are very well trained and are very responsive to the needs of the guests. I would highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure travellers who are looking for traditional Indian hospitality with a touch of the old style India. The food is exceptionally good although expensive, but street food is available within walking distance. Great experience all round thanks - Julia from Dubai

It is a great and royal place to stay. One would really feel awesome and expereince and understand the meaning of Royality. Taj group indeed is the best group of hotels in our country. I strongly recommend to all to opt for Tajmahal in Delhi.
