“Comfortable Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

I wanted a Hotel close to the Delhi railway station and finally zeroed on this one.. we checked in late night around 10:30 pm and expected the reception to be prompt and swift to move us to our room and they did. stayed here for 2 nights
Room was clean and neat however found it on the smaller side nevertheless we managed.. One issue i faced that the Hotel didn't have a DTH connection and it had some pre selected or set of channels playing and with our little one with us it became challenging to pacify why her cartoon channel wasn't showing here.. the hotel must look into this... it
We ordered food through room service it was reasonable..

overall i found this place little bit on the higher side in terms of cost.

We stayed in the month of Feb '12

We stayed here a total of 7 nights in 3 separate stays whilst travelling in India .the rooms, pool and hotel in general was very clean. The staff were all outstanding and couldn't do enough for us . A special mention to Promad in the chutney restaurant in the hotel who we became friendly with and he was brilliant with the kids .
A couple of things to bear in mind; Delhi is noisy and the front rooms of the hotel are quite noisy at night. We moved to a poolside room and it was much quieter.
There are a lot of taxes added to the final check out bill so be mindful of this when you book.
Also the prices in the bar and restaurant are quite pricey and on a par with staying in a five star so don't expect a cheap meal although we couldn't fault the food itself or the service.
If you want a cheap meal but also a really good one we discovered Bangla foods a short walk from the hotel . It's cheap and cheerful but the food was lovely and was served quickly. It's more of a fast food type place so don't expect restaurant type service but the food was worth it!
All in all we would stay at the met again. We have a 4 and an 8 year old and they loved it! As did we!

All the staff and personnel are friendly and helpful, as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. The décor in the rooms is in need a repair with damage to all surfaces. Huge king size bed. We didn’t like the red metal bed side metal tinny sounding tables – too utilitarian. But the room was spacious with a good work surface and plenty of power points. Our major issue though was the charges for internet – 30 minutes for INR125 plus tax, 3 hours 350 and 24 hours 7.50 and if you chose one of the “by hour” times, once you logged on you lost the rest of the hours and they did not carry over till the next time. So if you wanted to buy three hours, you were in for a three hour session or lose the remaining time. The loo rolls were extremely thin and inexpensive and the bathroom towels were on the small side although of good quality. The shower was wonderful. There was only one bathrobe. The breakfast was superb and we even got bacon! overall a comfortable stay.

I do hate to say this, but our "welcome" here was the worst that I have had in India for 3 months.I found out the hard way that this is a business hotel. We had the usual language problems, and the frustration that follows.I liked the location, because we enjoy a walk and finding outside places to eat.If it was not for the Assistant Front Office Manager Saurabh Srivastava, who help us a great deal, our stay would have been much more stressful.Would I stay again, probably not, sorry.

Room Tip: If the hotel is having a around the pool function, then being on the front of the hotel is prefered.B...

I love this hotel for the fact that
The staffs are very helpful, always smiling and as soon as I checked in for the night before I went home ,they have showed so much empathy especially Mr Manish Khanna.

The food at chutney was delicious

The room is beautiful and mine comes with a beautiful view and so does the pool area.

The souvenir shop that allows you to do last minute shopping at reasonable price

But number one reason is always the people! I will come back...though not so soon.

All staff here were helpful and courteous, and obviously well-trained in customer relations. The room, a deluxe, was airy with plenty of light, comfortable bed, and funky decor. Breakfast offered plenty of choice of western and Indian food. The bathroom was not especially well designed as the door had to be pushed aside to access the toilet. Otherwise a 5-star experience, and very conveniently located to Connaught Place, taxis, tuk-tuks, and the Metro. We have booked to stay again!

Room Tip: our room faced the pool side which was very quiet and serene.

After experiencing small local hotels in various places in India, staying at this hotel was a kind of remedy for the recovery. I love India and will visit this country definitely again.... I had good time in all places that I visited. However, it is true that everything was so different from my usual life.
In the room of this hotel, I was feeling very secure.

Everything is modern, luxurious and classy. The food of the room service was also tasty.
Usually, at this kind of large hotels, the service is good but tend to be business like. Though, people were all so nice. Especially, the people at the front desk were very kind and warm-hearted. When I had a problem with one airline company, they helped me a lot. They could stand in my position and imagined very well how I was feeling. I'd never had such a great experience with someone at the hotel front desk before.

Will absolutely stay at this hotel in Delhi again in future.
