“Better than expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We stayed here for only a couple of nights when visiting Delhi. I was expecting a radison/marriott style hotel, but this was definitely a step up. The hotel is spotless and lofty - a welcome change from small bed and breakfasts. The rooms were clean and luxurious. The staff was incredibly helpful, spoke flawless English, and gave us an extra late check out. It's also really nice that the hotel offers multiple restaurants (we tried three, and were happy at all) and a beautiful pool, in case you feel like relaxing instead of facing Delhi's busy streets. The location was convenient for everything we did. The spa was ok, not the highlight of the hotel.

“Hotel appreciation from Dr and Mrs Jivanji from Mauritius”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

My spouse and myself stayed at the hotel for one month. Staff very well trained and always helpful
Clean room and well serviced. Good location as not far from Airport, 5 minutes from Connaught Place by Richshaw and can even reach there by foot. Security check very strict at entrance which gives a feeling of security while on Hotel premises. The breakfast buffet which is complimentary is well set everyday with a variety of food to meet the expectation of everyone. For anyone staying at the hotel do know that at buffet there are food items that are on request also. The personnel is very helpful. Usually we have to wait some time before the tea arrives; this is an item which should be served readily. However we believe that the dinner buffet or any food item on the menu card is not value for money. could not enjoy the pool as it was not a heated one. On the overall we would recommend this hotel. Please convey our special thanks to Mr Kapil from the Zing , Miss Rubeena and Mr Rakesh of the reception desk who have been very helpful and generous in their attitude towards my spouse on the two occasions that she stayed alone at the hotel while i was on business trips.

Room Tip: choose a room which gives on the main road.

“Nice hotel in central place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

I stayed in hotel for few days and I had really good experience. The hotel is situated not far away from central Delhi, just 20 minutes from airport. The restaurant food is nice, but quite expensive. Overall rooms, lobby and atmosphere is nice and I definitely recommend it.

“Last few days in India”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

We stayed here during our last few days in India as a treat. It's a pretty nice hotel, the rooms are comfortable, bathroom nice and the staff helpful. We had a kettle that was broken in our room which I asked to be replaced and it was not, apart from that the room cleaning was excellent with tea being restocked, etc. the breakfast was ok, a buffet style and big but a few times I had to ask them to bring us tea, coffee, etc as we'd been waiting for a while. Which is not what I'd expect when paying top prices. The wifi is also extortionate at 750 rupees, still it's a good connection but very expensive. we used the steam room also, staff were attentive, too much so at times to the point I had to ask them to leave the changing room so I could change as there was about 3 members of staff in there and I was also asked to fill out my room details mid-changing privacy needs to be thought of more, especially as I had already given details on reception! Also, the pool is not heated, which is surprising seeing as its outside and a top hotel!

Generally it was a good stay, but a few changes could make it even better.

“The Met”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

Was very pleased by the helpful staff, the pleasant room, and the location, close to the Cottage industries emporiums.
Breakfast buffet was very good, but the buffet dinner could be better. The meals in Spice restaurant are good value for money.
The staff was very helpful in providing a doctor when I needed one.

Room Tip: Choose the front rooms, facing the morning sun.
