This is my second visit of the place in a one month gap. The only difference is that the earlier visit was on a weekday and this one was on a weekend. And boy oh boy, what a difference.
They have earned a huge name for themselves and you can only do that with a great product and a great service. The only problem is the consistency. On the weekend this place is a mad house. I guess half of the people coming to HKV wants to be at this place. On one hand there is nothing wrong with that intent but the management shouldn't just let everybody in even though they are running 1.5 times of their capacity. Literally there were people around and sometime they seemed above your shoulders too.
What this results in? Bad service, undercooked food, order slippages, no water when you need it most, being fed what you didn't order and then giving a justification and last but not the least, a lot of people staring at you to get a seat while you are trying to enjoy.
One thing that the management can do to make it better is assess their capacity to serve and try to make it a better experience for the people who are paying for it. Or else, after some time there wont be too many people coming back here.
You have a great place here, please don't spoil it so easily.
