“Excellent Value for Money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

Stayed at Hotel Kabli in early Nov with my family (spouse and 2 kids). We were looking for an inexpensive, clean and safe place - and we found it! Hotel Kabli offers a little more than basic accommodation - we got two cottage style rooms that were reasonably well furnished and clean. The staff, led by the proprietor Inder Beer Singh, were friendly and responsive and made us feel at home. They also gave us a lot of advice on sightseeing, where to eat, etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel to families and those on a budget.

My friend and I (two girls) stayed at Hotel Kabli in Jan'13 for three nights and had a very pleasant stay. The owners are friendly and warm, and the room was large, clean, and we had hot water for the shower. Just a few stops away by metro from the center, in a quiet suburban-ish neighborhood. The place felt very safe with a large gate. The breakfast was awesome, get the Kabli Special egg (we actually ordered all the breakfasts to try). The owners picked us up from the airport upon our request, gave us a ride to the metro on one of the days, and when we returned from a trip to Agra later than expected, they even called our driver to make sure we were ok. I highly recommend for your stay in Delhi!

The highlight of this place is undoubtedly its manager, Inder. The man knows customer service. He'll sort you out with just about anything you need and he'll often go above and beyond to make your Delhi stay as good as possible.

Kabli was booked out when we checked initially but a room became available and Inder contacted us straight away to see if we were still interested. He gave us a complimentary pick up from the train station. The car and driver are for the guests, so if no one else is using them, they'll take you to the metro station, wine shop or nearby attractions free of charge. Inder even bargained our taxi driver down for us when we left for the airport.

A couple of small-time criticisms include the meal we had from the room service menu which was a bit sub-par. And our toilet had a blockage on arrival, but that was fixed up pretty quickly.

All in all, Kabli is a great stay in a nice, relatively peaceful part of one of the world's most hectic cities. Hats off to the manager. Follow Inder's advice and you should enjoy what Delhi has to offer.

Stayed hear for a few days in late December 2012. Highly recommended. Extremely nice staff, helped me book a flight to varanasi and drove me out occassionally to the nearby metro station. Had some trouble with getting hot water, but otherwise would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean quiet place in Delhi.

We loved our stay at Hotel Kabli. Our host was so helpful. He even helped us make and printed out our flight reservations when we missed our train. I loved the garden. I didn't get hot water in the shower when I tried but my cold one was a funny memory. I would stay here again if I'm lucky enough to return to India.

As expected, the taxi driver that took us from the airport to the hotel tried to tell us that the hotel was in a bad part of town and that we wouldn't be safe there. NOTHING could have been farther from the truth!! Myself and my two female friends stayed here and we felt very safe and very comfortable here. The family who runs this hotel has been here for years and they are amazing. Everyone who works here were absolutely wonderful to us and helped us get to a few close sights and to the metro so we could get around Delhi with ease. We ate out only one time in Delhi because the food at the hotel was so good we just keep eating here. And if you travel in December or January you will be happy to know that they have hot water showers. Also, within walking distance is a wonderful street market where you can get any essential you might need however the hotel is far enough away from everything to get a quiet nights sleep. Enjoy your time at Hotel Kabli!!

Hotel Kabli was a great introduction to India. The family that runs it is so welcoming and goes above and beyond to make your stay there safe and enjoyable. We had to reroute our trip because of the trains/ fog and they spent hours helping us. They even dropped us off at local sites and metro stations. Their food was some of the best we have eaten in India. They are extremely trustworthy and we really enjoyed getting to know them. The rooms are simple but the service is amazing. Well worth the stay and the money. We would definitely stay there again.
